Are the stars making up these constellations, Hercules and Sagittarius, travelling at similar speeds?
The Sun, on it's galactic path on one of the spiral arms of the Milky Way, is heading towards the constellation Hercules. the entire Milky way is revolving around the galactic center of the constellation Sagittarius. what evidence is there in order to deduce an answer for the above question? What is the calculation used (work?)? Thanx

Perhaps there were magnetic perturbations, unreported as of yet?

If so, shouldn't more attention be paid to cataloging these (near earth) objects within the known asteroid belt including the areas around Saturn and even as far out to Neptune?

I thought they were supposed to switch to AON after the first of the year due to a business move after the sub-prime crisis. Does anyone have any information about this obvious corporate decision?

3 AnswersAstronomy & Space1 decade agoIs there a web-site with an orrey featuring the Jovian system with the moons, asteroids, and debris displayed?
With the future of the official moon count of Jupiter (64?) somewhat cloudy, is there a web-site featuring an "orrey" of that system with a definitive line shown between the moons, the asteroid belt, and it's accompanying debris?
2 AnswersAstronomy & Space1 decade agoForeign Interest Rates?
There is a fascinating
new book by Ken Fisher called "The Only Three Questions That Count".
In it, Mr. Fisher posits that both "growth" and "value" stocks can be graded by
current strength as determined by the "Global Yield Curve". The
equation for the curve includes the spread between short-term and long-
term interest rates (3m and 10yr). The countries involved are the 23 that make up (Morgan Stanley's) MSCI World Index.
Can anyone steer me to an appropriate web-site for information on those
current interest rates? It's the only way to keep the equation up-to-
date, which is a great buy and sell indicator for both "growth"
and "value" stocks.
