I can start and run truck if i spray the carb but as soon as i stop spraying the truck dies.. I see a little bit of fuel in the filter definitely not full. and i can see some fuel past the filter as well but nothing coming out of the car when i pump it. I know my tank is filthy, i just bought the truck. but i figured ifthere is fuel past th efilter thats not the only issue here. what would cause no fuel to come out of carb.. do i need a rebuild? about how much does that run? I have a sending unit on order and will clean my tank once that gets here.. its got a 4bbl carter

its all been redone. mechanic and professional auto restorer say its in good shape. but i just cant stop thinking SALVAGE.. what do you think?

I go to buy a chevy 1969 truck. tyhe guy hands me the pink and i notive the number son the door jambs dont match.. the one on the glove compartment sticker do... whats up with that?

I was gonna go buy a truck after work. one hour away vs two from home, and i have to be home by at a certain time.. But she wants me to pick up my kid from school because SHE doesnt wanna take him to the hospital .( her dad getting a transplant).. She left it up to me... thing is I finally decided after weeks ofthinking to get this truck . and im a now or never type dude.... arghhhh Thing is I know I need to pick him up so he doesnt miss school.. but we talking a clasic car here lol .....

There are two fans. the one for the ac and the regular fan. my regular fan is not turning on at high temoperatures as it should , unless the ac is on. at this point they both turn on.. with ac on car runs great at normal operating temperature.. I know its a simple deal but where does my problem lie. I can rig fan to start when car does but id rather do it the correct way.

THE 3/4 XL HELMET IS TOO SMAL FOR ME. i HAVE A XL SKID LID THAT FITS GREAT BUT I WANT A SHIELD, CAN i PUT A SHIELD ON THIS?

i JUST BOUGHT A HOUSE AND STARTED MAKING A KENEL FOR HIM . Unfortunately my dog is an escape artist. he can climb and dig and tweak a chainlink fence. Si i usually put him in an 8'x8'x8' plywood kennel . Its like solitary confinement. I decided maybe ill keep him inthe garage, im thinking about installing a gable fan and a ecurity door so main door stays open. I have a large supply of water for him and he will have fresh ice in the morning, gable fan , and a oscillating fan I know the garage will get hot but if i can survive can he?

I seeded my lawn from scratch i tilled and raked spread seed and actually spread weed and feed instead of regular fertyilizer. If you know what hapens with that combo you know the answer to my question and you will get best answer. How long after spreading weed and feed along with two days of heavy rains do i have to wait to reseed?

97 ACCORD LX 2.2 MANUAL.

Book says check resitance so I use my multimeter put the dial on 2k and start probing the 4 conections on the ckp..( I have the one that is on tye oil pump). Im almost positive im doing this wrong , can someone advise me step by step how to do this with a multimeter?

97 HONDA ACCORD LX 2.2 NON VTECH, MANUAL TRANS

97 accord 2.2 manual trans. non vtech.I mean its not starting fluid. I cant get it to start any other way i pray it directly into the two lil ports in the throttlebody and it starts. I shut it off and it wont start untill i spray again.

I ran across this problem after replacing my engine and in the process i had cleaded dad clean out intake before installing it. If mt tps was soaked in cleaner could that cause a no start.( remember ive had it running for like 10 min . and idle went a lil crazy when i pushed it to 3000 rpm, idle went up and down at 3000. could my tps be the culprit. can you explain why.?

Tring to get timing belt on , my head was removed and im sure crank was turned, I can set my cam up at tdc but my crank can line up at differnt points.

Example: I line up all marks at tdc , install belt.

1. I turn crankuntill it comes back to the tdc mark.

cam tdc mark is now on bottom( half turn off)

2. 1 more full turn of crank and cam is again lined up.

wHICK CRANKSHAFT PULLEY MARK IS TDC. tHERE ARE 3 MARKS CLOSE TOGETHER AND THEN ONE MORE. I ASSUME THE MIDDLE OF THE 3 THAT ARE TOGETHER IS TDC am i wrong. sorry for caps, any ideas?

97 accord lx sohc 5 spd I was driving and all of oa sudden it t died. My belt has been squeeling for a while, im assuming it broke. no loud clunks so im assuming my valves do not come in direct contact with my pistons and do damage. I will be changing belt, tennsioner shaft and waterpump as well as any other seals and gaskets i have to take off. Does anybody have any opinion , suggestions or know of a good write-up for this? Im not to sure how to line up my crank and cam, any knowledge would be appreciated.

Im looking to put on some 31/10.5/15 with only a 2" spacer lift.. its a 94 grand cherokee. I hear people fitting 31" with no lift, but the guy at the wheel place said i would need a big lift. what kind of backspacing do the stock rims have and what kind of backspacing do I need
