17 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoDifference between Muslims and Christians?
Looks like the major difference between Muslims and Christians is that Christians claim that they can know that their sins are forgiven, whereas Muslims cannot know for sure?
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoCan Muslims know that their sins have been forgiven?
I mean can a muslim say that all his sins have been forgiven
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoMuslims: When are all our sins forgiven?

7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoAtheists, why do we feel guilt?
I asked this question before and many atheists gave the psychological and evolutional explanations of guilt from wikipedia. I had also asked whether chimps felt guilt. And almost everyone thought that dogs and chimps felt guilt.
Yet a casual search for "guilt in chimps" gives the exact opposite. Scientists think that dogs and chimps don't feel guilt.

11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDo atheists read the answers for the questions they ask in the R&S section?
I doubt they do. Atheists seem more interested in ridiculing christianity than in seeking genuine answers. What do you think?
24 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoChristians: Didn't Jesus rise from the dead in his worldly body?
Some seem to think it was another body like the one we would be given during our resurrection. Pl. clarify.
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoAlgebraic proof please?
Take a three digit number such that the first and third digits are different
Reverse the number
Subtract the smaller number from the bigger one
If the difference is a two digit number add a zero before it
Reverse the new three digit no. and add the reversed no. to the difference
The answer is always 1089
Example
156
651
Difference
495
594
Add
1089
Can you give me algebraic proof?
6 AnswersMathematics1 decade agoHow to reverse transmission safely and quickly?
I want to automate a grinding machine where the grinding wheel travels to and fro sharpening a long knife. I want to reverse this direction safely using limit switches, but I dont know if I should just swap two phases in the 1HP 3 phase motor as I worry that it may damage the motor in the long run. Can I do that? Or is there any other way to do this? Can I use two motors? Please help.
