Name of song (intense rock music)?
At the very end of the video, around 5:52, the rock music starts to play. Does anyone know what the song's called or have a link to it?
3 AnswersRock and Pop5 years agoHow does the balance of power shift between Congress and the President?
The essay question to consider:
How has the balance of power shifted between the president and Congress in the past thirty years?
What I'm asking is: how can the balance of power shift?
If there's system of checks and balances, aren't they equal all the time?
Does the balance of power shift towards the president when the president easily persuades Congress to pass laws that he wants?
In contrast, does the balance of power shift towards Congress when they decide they want to counteract actions of the president?
I'm just wondering what the essay question is asking so that I know how to answer it. Thanks for any answers!
1 AnswerGovernment6 years agoWill Kindle eBook prices fall for Cyber Monday?
Because of Black Friday, a TON of the (bestselling) Kindle eBooks on Amazon are on sale, which is super exciting. I really want to buy them, but I'm wondering if I should wait until Cyber Monday? Do you think the prices will continue to fall?
I just don't want to buy a book for $5 now and find out that it's $3 in three days...what do you think? Go for it, or wait until Cyber Monday?

2 AnswersYouTube7 years agoWrite a cosine function from this word problem?
A leaf floats on the water bobbing up and down. The distance between its highest and lowest point is 4 centimeters. It movies from its highest point down to its lowest point and back to its highest point every 10 seconds. Write a cosine function that models the movement of the leaf in relationship to the equilibrium point.
This information might help you:
Cosine function equation ---> y=A cos (k@+c)+h
** "@" is theta, but I can't type that, so I substituted it for @.
A=amplitude, which I already know is 2.
k=period
c=phase shift
h=vertical shift
Any help appreciated!
1 AnswerMathematics7 years agoMix Henna Powder for skin? (People with experience)?
Hi, so I have this henna powder, and I want to know what the best/simplest way is to mix it. I've looked it up on Google and Youtube, and they all say similar things, but at the same time, all have variations. I even saw someone say you just add water (could it be that simple?).
If you have tried mixing henna and had successes, or even failures, please mention them below (and indicate that you've personally done it before). What do you think is the best way to do it? Thanks!

7 AnswersPolls & Surveys7 years agoOrthodontist incorrect?
Hi, I got my braces off two weeks ago, and am currently wearing a full time, clear retainer. Tomorrow, I am to go get a retainer that I only have to wear at night. My orthodontist is only having me wear the 24/7 one for two weeks, but I've been reading that other people wear theirs for like six months. Should I just do what my orthodontist says, or wear my full time retainers a little longer? He is a little old fashioned...maybe his tactics aren't accurate? I'd hate for my teeth to go back to the way they were:/ Does anyone have some personal experience with this? Thanks!
2 AnswersDental7 years agoDo colleges look down upon online high schools?
Right now, I'm attending an online high school because I live overseas and there's language problems. However, there's a local high school that's willing to accommodate me and help me with the language, and I would graduate from their school if I chose to attend. I really prefer the online high school, because I like the American education, and I would be able to learn more things because I'd be focusing on the class instead of the language issues.
I need to make a decision. Stay in the online high school or attend the local high school. Thing is, I want to know what is better for me college-wise. If I stayed in the online high school, would colleges look down upon it and say it's not as good as a real school? Would attending this local high school look better?
PS have you attended an online high school and gone to a good university?
2 AnswersHome Schooling8 years agoFresh Ink Group trustworthy?
I've been searching the internet to find a short story contest that had no entry fee, and I found this contest that is sponsored by the Fresh Ink Group, and I was wondering if anyone knew about them? Is the contest legit? This contest is exactly what I was hoping for, and I'm not sure if I can turn in an original story without knowing for sure that they can be trusted with it.
5 AnswersBooks & Authors8 years agoMy dog is gagging, shaking, and tail is tucked?
I have a two year old Jack Russell Terrier. He is normally very active and playful, but for the past 3 or 4 days, he has been gagging every like half hour to an hour. Even in the middle of the night, I'll wake up to him gagging, but he doesn't throw up. He has also become less active and is obviously distressed and not feeling too well. He has started shaking as well, although not as often as the gagging. Most of all though, his tail is tucked or halfway down all the time. Normally, his tail will be up unless he's tired or bored, but his tail is tucked/not up 24 hours. Even when we get home and he's happy, it doesn't really come up and wag as much. Does anyone know what could be wrong? Should I be alarmed and take him to the vet or is it just constipation or something fairly minor?
P.S. He's not eating his food,either. It's night time, and he still hasn't eaten breakfast. However, he will still happily take chicken and other meat or "human food".
4 AnswersDogs9 years agoSprained ankle general question...?
Last night at my soccer game I injured my ankle and was still playing afterwards even though it hurt a little. This morning I woke up and it was all stiff and I couldn't put any weight on it, so I didn't go to school. I went to the doctor and they sent me to this place to take X-rays. Now I know that it's just a sprained ankle, but I'm not going to school tomorrow either so I can try to heal over the weekend and be normal on Monday. Is it possible for me to get almost all better by Monday (3 days)? It's a relatively serious sprained ankle. If I really stay off of it for 3 days and ice and heat it, could I be walking normally by Monday? Or is that out of the question? Please just tell me all you know about sprained ankles! Thanks in advance:)
1 AnswerInjuries9 years agoDad turning 61, need advice on gift?
Okay, here's the circumstances. Originally, I was going to get him a seat cushion for his car, because he spends around 2 hours driving to and from work everyday. However, he recently became really sick and hasn't been able to go to the doctor yet. I don't want to go with my original plan because it's not proper if he's this sick.
My next plan is to get something that would make him more comfortable when he's doing something, for example a blanket for movies or that type of thing. I don't want to get that exactly, because he doesn't spend that much time watching TV, and it doesn't seem like he really would want or need one.
My question, I suppose, would be "what would be a good idea for a gift?" He's turning 61, spends a good amount of time on the computer (maybe a seat cushion for THAT chair..?), he's not into sports at all, very much into politics, humorous, and he's not able to do sports or anything like that. It would be great if I could get him something useful for him to use around the house, but not anything work related. Also, since he's sick, that could be a factor in the gift. Any suggestions are appreciated!
1 AnswerFamily9 years agoAlgebra 2 Systems of Equations problem?
This is the problem:
Each of the following is a system of equations that is NOT linear. Each is LINEAR IN FORM because an appropriate substitution (say U of 1/x and C for 1/y) yields a linear system.
Solve for the new variable, and then solve for the original variable.
2/x + 1/y = 0
5/x + 2/y = -5
My question: I don't understand this problem at all. First, what would the "new variable" and "original variable" be? What's that mean? And if you get this problem, would you please show me how to do it? Or at least explain how and I'll do it myself? If you answer, thanks in advance:)

2 AnswersFashion & Accessories9 years agoiPod Touch vs iPhone...seems about the same?
Here are the facts I know:
The most recent iPod Touch has a camera, bluetooth, and you can use it as a phone if you get the app for that. With the iPhone, you have all of the same things, but if you want to talk and text, you need to pay money for the phone service. However, the iPod Touch must have a good connection to talk or text.
ULTIMATE QUESTION (dun dun dunnn): The iPhone and iPod Touch sound basically like the same thing, except for the built-in phone and different ways of connecting. Would it be a better deal to get the iPod Touch or is there some fact that I'm not getting?

Okay, for this WHOLE time, I thought Katniss in the Hunger Games was actually played by Anna Popplewell. I mean, I knew it was Jennifer Lawrence, but I thought her and Anna were the same person!! They look really similar, at least in the movies Narnia and Hunger Games. Check these pics out:
