back in November i started a job and was told it had a 3 month probation period,on the 1st of Feb the manager asked me if i wanted a full time position and i accepted, since then this manager has quit after the company employed someone and put him in a higher position than the manager thus demoting him, but my issue is this, i recently found a letter on my new Boss's PC which stated that as i was still in my probation period and they werent happy about a couple of things they were looking to sack me.

The reasons were stupid things like being to friendly to people on the phone (people i speak to on a daily basis) putting my feet on the desk once and yawning, not giving the right answer to a question (ive never recieved any training other than learning as i work and this was never mentioned) the list is only about 5 things these listed being about 3 things the other 2 being just as petty.

So am i still in a on probation ?

is this list of small issues something i could be sacked for ?

This manager has never approached me and told me of anything i have done wrong since i finished probation and all the things listed have happened after the 1st of february.

ive never recieved any training on the job and have not being given any contract or handbook relating to company procedures.

i dont want to be sacked as i enjoy the job so is he justified in his actions.

ive had a look around and some say jailbreak, others say its risky and to have it done properly, some sites want £13 others want £56, so is there a reputable site, that is easy to use and reasonably priced.

ive been to ORANGE, they were no help.

As part of my job i have to repair some PC's that dont have monitors attached, some of them are in tight spaces and there is no room for a conventional monitor, i can use a standard 15" flatscreen on some of them but these means lugging it about with me.

I carry a 10" Acer laptop running windows xp and want to know if there is any device i can plug in (via USB ?) that will allow me to see the output of the faulty PC.

In essence use the laptop as a screen for a pc.

The pc's arent networked in anyway and some run DOS and other run windows XP.

its for the baird X42DTV model 48" LCD, the tv was bought without a remote and im looking for anyone who has this model of TV that can send me a picture of the remote, or if your TV has busted and you dont need it could you donate it or sell it to me.
