Your opinions on building animal shelters?
There are many stray dogs and cats in my neighbourhood. I have adequate but not momentous income. I had old school friends who are vets and some pet food suppliers.
What do you think of my plan ethically, morally, religiously or personal views?
I would like to know what your religions, be it Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, etc on this.
Would it be tampering with nature? Some disruption or imbalance to the ecosystem? Unfair towards the food web? Permitted, encouraged, prohibited?
I already have my stand but I just do wanna know what the world thinks. Thanks!
1 AnswerCommunity Service9 years agoIndian IIT VS American MIT?
I've heard those huge speculations that Engineering education in the IIT is Cambridge, Harvard, MiT and Caltech combined. It's difficult to believe, but suprisingly IIT graduates are huge success in American corporate world, in such the co-founder of Sun Microsystem- the company behind the Javascript we're so into using.
So now.. If a foreign not from India was to graduate from IIT, hypothetical speaking, is he a much better engineering prospect than the MiT and Caltech graduates? Are the Indian rigor and curriculum finally overthrown the Americans? O.o Hypothetically.

1 AnswerStandards & Testing1 decade agoWhy UK students take up 4 subjects at AS and drop it at A2?
I've been wondering for so long.. Is this a trend for A level students in the UK? In other countries, such as the Asian regions, I observe a difference approach, which is taking the subjects till the end. I thought, well, since colleges accepts 3 A level, a fail in the 4th wouldn't matter so much.
And, if its about the 3 a level the colleges accepts, why don't just take 3 from the start to pay full attention?
3 AnswersPrimary & Secondary Education1 decade agoWhat else can I do for my part in this world?
I do humanitarian and voluntary works constantly and loves doing it to the point i'm addicted to doing my part in this world.
Currently, I'm in association with the Red Cross and Red Crescent, doing donation requests, running blood donation campaigns and becoming a trained first aider ready for emergencies. I'm also planning to donate blood least once a year after I'm older and mentally prepared. Will register to donate my entire organs and bones when i'm dead soon and request for an eco burial (burial without coffin) if my organs rejected, since they're of no use after death.
What else can I do as human? There are no human or civil right activist groups or animal right association around my region.

7 AnswersWords & Wordplay1 decade agoFirst-Impressions in Recognition?
Just a food for thought.
Now, I don't really need a lecture or a war between opinions, because I know this topic won't end if so.
I just need you to be in a boss shoes, who cared only about university recognition.
Many surgeon from every universities around the world applied.
Now, which is the best university that popped out in your mind? One university that just pop.
Again, let me remind that you are in a boss shoes who only cared about the recognition. Actually, only one word is enough as an answer (except if the university name is more)!
Shoot off.
1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)1 decade ago5 points Best Answer - Singapore-Cambridge difficulties have good pay-offs?
I know that Singapore's education is by far one of the best (though one of the most difficult) in the world, topping the Asian regions. To fend off the criticism of its education system, Singapore had implemented the Singapore-Cambridge GCSE O Level and Singapore-Cambridge GCSE A Level, notorious for its difficulty compared to others.
So, would it be a better choice for me to take them instead of the iGCSE? Would I stand a better chance in university admissions, knowing that the examinations I took are way higher standard than the rest? Or should I just resort to the more-recognized iGCSE?
Thanks in advance!
1 AnswerPrimary & Secondary Education1 decade agoWhat is double-degree or double-major?
Many spoke of double-degree and after a brief consultation with some, associated it to be the same as double-major. However, some also disagree and differentiates them both, including the statement on Wikipedia, "not to be confused with double-major".
Please explain to me what is the both of them and what's their differences. And, which of them appears on the final certificate.
Thanks in advance.

2 AnswersHigher Education (University +)1 decade agoHow many's the maximum subject for Malaysia's SPM?
Hey M'sians,
I am taking the SPM examination for my international achievement status.
I've heard that the government limited the maximum subjects to only 12!
So, since there's 2 extras from the 10 subjects, what subjects can you take for that extra two?
Besides that, why are there some who can take 15 subjects at once?
1 AnswerMalaysia1 decade agoHow do you train for breakdance?
Hi y! Community.
I have this performance day event next year around Sept and I'm supposed to dance breakdance to introduce the dance to the community.
There's no breakdance lessons or classes at all in the neighborhood and I have no spacious rooms to practice it in. There're also limitations in finding a tutor or even a partner. I've tried the Internet, but anyone have any suggestions on which website to review? And are there tips? I just need to wow the audiences for a short period of time, and I have practically all the time I could ever have.
Thanks in advance.
3 AnswersDancing1 decade agoHow to beat up someone?
Beating people up in a good way I mean. There are bullies, gangster and robbers crawling from every street and they are threatening my family and friend safety.
Advices are to be prepared by force. There are the Western style and Asian. Western are the dependence on weapons and raw strength that defeats an opponent in one blow. The Asian are martial arts which presses on speed, agility and swiftness aside from alertness that enables you to counter mobs.
What's your idea?
2 AnswersBoxing1 decade agoWhat's the best martial arts to master?
I'm in a very low budget and there are nearby gym is unavailable. To keep my skills refined and for the sake of fitness, I'm allowed to concentrate on one martial art.
Currently, there are the Tang Soo Do, the Chinese Wushu and the Taekwondo. All of it have its own special grandmasters and its own level of superiority. The skills are ultimately different from each other. There are chance that I might master all, but to all martial artists, which by far should I take my first leap into the world of martial skills?
7 AnswersMartial Arts1 decade agoHow to reap some packs in the abs?
Hey, y! Community.
Any advice on reaping a sixpack or eightpack?
I'm a student. No budget for any exercising tools or machines. No gym or park anywhere near my neighbourhood. No bodybuilding or fitness club in the school, only martial art of tang soo do, taekwondo, chinese wushu clubs. No budget for any expensive protein intakes too.
Just imagine a poor country with dropping economy rates. I know its tough, but just asking. Any advice? Currently in an association with lots of marching drill.
2 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoGirls: Does abs packs really matter?
When I asked my pals, obviously they would answer yeah. Currently I have sixpack but I was recommended to reap the final two as eightpack is 'the peak'. So girls, I wanna ask, does the number of packs really matter? I mean in many physical eye aspect, such as attraction, first impression or 'talkability at the beach'.
3 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoWhat's the best Body Armor materials?
There are so many materials regarding body armors. From the Kevlar®, Twaron®, Goldflex®, Dyneema® to Spectra®, Zylon®, Evoflex® and so on.
I've done some research and due to the aging and environment-weak properties, I can only rule out Zylon®.
Take this note, I've budget that covers the price of any of these and I know that materials play a simply lower role than the design and ballistic protection level but when dealing with the best, which? I heard that GoldFlex® is the best among all.
What do you guys think?
