I am married to a wonderful man and have a beautiful daughter! I live in Jenison, MI - Near Grand Rapids.

  • Dream Interpretation...and unknown things happening in my sleep.?

I had a strange dream last night. I woke up very foggy and "out of it."

It was much more complicated but what I recall is this ~

In the dream, my grandma, who died last year, Nov. 2007, was in it and I was carrying her as I was ice skating. I had then found out that my uncle, (her son) had died from a heart attack 2 mos prior. (He is still alive to my knowledge.) I then told my grandma that she out lived her son and ex husband - in a comical way. It was very strange and dark overall.

In reality, the morning before, I woke up to one of my rings on the right hand, on my ring finger along with my wedding ring. I wonder what that means? I had both rings on my ring finger. Both came from my husband (who is alive).

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

  • How do you know when your marriage is over?

Ok so I have accumulated some credit card without his knowledge. However, we have talked it over and agreed it is worth working things out. It isn't as if I am not working and paying some credit cards already. Frankly, I have been working more than him in the past 6 months. Tonight he freaked out on me, starting the same argument and THEN this time claiming how much he HATES my daughter! He is not her father and seems to have an issue with her. She is only 8 yrs old! I am down to my last straw. I just don't think it is worth it anymore. On top of all of this, he is an alcoholic.

  • Does anyone else have the Post-Holiday Blues?

Now that all the holidays are over, are you feeling it? I am glad that the Christmas music and shopping is over, but still feel sad. I also had 10 days off and now I am back to work! UGH.

    Anyone feel that way?

  • I want to write a book...?

I have written a collection of things over the years and would like to write a book. My question - what situation do I focus on? I would love to write about all of them but would anyone want to read a book based on 1 person's experience?

To give some background - I am a sexual abuse survivor as my bio father was my perpetrator. I was a single mom at 19 yrs old, caring for a 1 pound preemie. I also released my son for an open adoption at 22 yrs old (4.5 yrs ago) because I could not parent 2 children by myself.

Essentially, my goal is to reach out to young women, maybe in similar situations. I have so much passion for helping people that I really don't know where to begin. I do not have a degree but I do hold a love for writing.

Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you and Merry Christmas to all!

  • Hillary Clinton - Socialist?

Ok here is what I was reading about Hillary Clinton. Trying to do my research before I totally support her.

    someone posted this:

"I'm a true independent, and have voted independent for many years.

I Hillary gets the democrat nomination I will vote republican regardless who the candidate is.

I have spoken to many D's and I's and they feel the same.

There is a distrust and for many, a deep hate for that woman that I have never seen for a non-incumbant candidate.

Almost everyone who I spoke to and would never vote for her feel the same; she is a socialist.

Those of you who support Hillary and live on the east coast or near Los Angeles---there is another political world out here that you don't understand, nor care to understand.

I certainly could be wrong but if you keep Hilllary your likelyhood of losing is much greater."

Ok so if she is a socialist, why is that a bad thing? I didn't know what a socialist was unti I looked it up. This is the definition:

    so·cial·ist (sō'shə-lĭst) Pronunciation Key

    n.

    An advocate of socialism.

often Socialist A member of a political party or group that advocates socialism.

    adj.

    Of, promoting, or practicing socialism.

Socialist Of, belonging to, or constituting a socialist party or political group.

Then it gives me a link to something else claiming that people who are socialist tries to gap the bridge between capitalism and communism, ABOLISHING poverty and unemployment.

My question to you? Why is that a bad thing? What am I not undertanding?

  • Yahoo! Answers: What are the pros and cons?

I am speaking particularly on the "trolls" as they call them and the very controversial topics, such as adoption, politics, religion, etc. Do you think that the bullying has gotten out of hand?

  • My grandma sick in hospital - she is seeing a door....?

Do you think when someone is invisioning a door, that it is "The Door," and maybe she is dying? She has been on dialysis for 4 yrs. and went in last week for a congestive heart failure that they were able to stablize. Tonight she was talking about a door and wanted us to open it. We asked who was on the other side and she said, her mother. Of course her mom has been dead for 21 yrs.

What do you think? I am very spiritual so I don't see any other conclusion.

  • How does working different shifts affect marriage?

I just got a great job working 3rd shift, and I am not a morning person so this has been perfect! My husband works 1st shift, and as this will be my 3rd week on 3rd, I am struggling emotionally. I am finding myself wanting to cry because I miss my daughter and husband. With having to get some sleep during the day, I sometimes miss out on dinners and quality time. I am trying to sleep in the morning while they are at work and school, but that has been difficult, as I get home and I am wide awake! UGH! Has anyone gone through this and if so, has it strengthened your relationship or made it worse?

  • Has anyone else ever won McDonald's online Monopoly, 2007?

I have been entering my codes online and like the other colored properties, needed only one more of the red to win. I rolled the dice and it landed on Kentucky Avenue, (the "voice" in the game, even confirmed me landing on Kentucky)- which was the 3rd one I needed! At that point - the website booted me out! I am so upset! The screen was the light green color as the actual site but I couldn't refresh it or anything! I went and logged back in but it shows that spot to still be available. I want to get a hold of someone to verify the accuracy of this game. I would expect it to be fixed, but if you rightfully land on all the properties needed, you are entited.

Has this happened to anyone else?
