So I had unprotected sex two days before my period was due and it came and went. But it;s time for my next period and I've been feeling a tad queezy and having some heartburn which is random I took a test about 4 days ago and it was negating I took one again this morning which was negative also. I should be getting af today But i'm not even really crampy. so just wondering if this last one was to soon.

  • How reliable was the test?

I took a pregnancy test about five days ago and it was negative I'm supposed to get my period today and i took a test this morning. One of the early response ones. It came out an unabashed negative as well but so far no period. The only time i've had sex was one month ago. that's the only time I could've gotten pregnant. But i was only 1 day away from my period which came and went no worries. But how reliable was the test I took this morning?

  • drops of blood in my dogs urine?

But she seems fine, the only reason I noticed it was because we were outside playing and I stepped over it and noticed a small amount on a leaf.

Shes acting fine though eating ,drinking, and is in very good spirits!

I've read about UTIs and that they are quite common in dogs , but none of the symptoms fit her!

She's been spayed for about seven years so it can't be that she's in heat!

She's standing by me as I type and looks to be the picture of health! And before the chorus of "Get her to the vet!" starts Im planning on getting her an appointment today.

Im just wondering what it could be?

But thanks in advance for the answers!

  • Could my dogs death be affecting our other dogs?

Our dog died after two dogs got a hold of him he was ten and the dog that we've had for around 7 or 8 years has been acting so sad she stays in a back room and just lays on the blanket that we had him wrapped in when we took him to the vet it was the last thin we had on him.

Im just so worried about her I try to make sure she eats and drinks but she usually just wants to lay around, she's happy when we go play or go to the dog park but most of the time when were home she just stays on the blanket.

Is there anything we can do?

  • Got my male cat fixed and no improvement on his behavior?

We got him fixed about three weeks ago when he was six months He was constantly whining at all hours mostly in the early morning waking everyone up and finally when he gets attention he would usually bite and scratch at anyone who tried to pet him or hold him.

Since we had him fixed a female cat that we've been feeding since she was baby herself brought two kittens on the porch which Im sure isn't helping anything whenever he manages to run past us outside he tries to mate with the mother and is pretty violent and he corners the kittens and really tries to get after them.

It's been about three weeks since we got him fixed the only real change is that he's a bit more affectionate than he was,

we do have three dogs but he usually gets along with them pretty well he does tend to take his aggression out on one mostly but even thats calmed down a bit

So has it just not been long enough for his hormones to go away? Or is this just his personality?

  • Should my male parakeet have a male or female friend?

Just trying to decide he used to have a I believe a male cage mate that was so aggressivce with him that we had to give him away so would a female be better?

Or if a male is better are there any qualities that I should look for in a male? or the female?

Or should he be left alone he chirps alot but is still very timid around us and flys away when we try to get near him anything to help with that?

    Thanks!

  • My bird constantly chirps and Im worried about him! help please!?

two birds were dropped off at a friends pet store we got them the woman who dropped them off said she had them for around six years and that she just couldn't keep them anymore after a few days one was such a bully to the other he wouldn't let him eat and pecked at him, well he was given away and now we just have one bird I can't tell if hes happy or not! He's chirping constantly then he does a little shriek and seems to click his beak, the only place we can have him where the cat can't reach is on top of a bookshelf where he's pretty level with some ceiling fans I don't know if that would cause anything, but thats the only place where we can have him where he's not totally shut off from us! He's right next to the tv aswell so maybe thats it...I just wonder if we did the right thing by giving the other bird away.

So please help! They both seemed to be doing the chirping behavior before they were seperated if that helps.

  • my dog seems very timid and sad?

She just mopes and sort of lets our other dogs walk all over her. shes a retriever mix and our other dogs are very small compared to her though it seems our terrier mix has taken charge, shes just so timid around us ! we've never spanked or done anything that I would think would cause this behavior ,shes such a sweet gentle dog and its stressing me out over why shes acting like this! She has someone home all day with her and I think she gets enough exercise , but it may not be enough Im worried about her and would appreciate all the help and tips i can get!
