My daughter told me she was going to a friends for Christmas. I said okay and that my husband and I aren't doing much for the holiday. Today, she messages me and tells me she is having Christmas with her Aunt who I do not get along with. I tell her the truth that I am upset but I recognize that she is an adult and can make her own choices. She starts yelling at me and telling me I am selfish and that I made her feel totally unwelcome for the holidays and it is my fault she is going to her Aunt's house. I do not know what I did wrong?

I have some college but no degree. My computer skills are fair but not expert. I type 40 words a minute at my best but have difficulty passing a typing test because I get too nervous. I had back surgery 3 years ago and although it relieved the pain in my legs, I now have back pain if I stand more than 10 minutes. The majority of my work experience has been in a warehouse. I can no longer do that type of work. I need some suggestions for finding a suitable job. I tried call center work but don't like it. I am almost 50 years old and am running into alot of age discrimination.

I got a German Shepard/Pit bull mix over the summer. For a while I have been calling him Nikko but the name doesn't really fit him. He is a blond dog with beautiful green eyes and a face like a Pit bull but floppy ears. He is lovable and mischievous. I need a name that fits.

How does that work? I know someone who was arrested down in Florida but they were out on bond for Indiana. Obviously, they weren't supposed to leave the state of Indiana. The trial in Indiana was set for May. Does Florida send them up here for trial or do they stay down there? If Indiana finds them guilty and they are sentenced to prison, do they go back down to Florida to face charges there or does that wait till they finish their Indiana sentence?

I am 48 years old. I have been trying to get my education for the past few years. First I went with a local business school and I admit I did not check them out thoroughly. They weren't accredited and they were very expensive. I left after 1 semester. Then I tried an online school that was accredited but are not recognized where I live. I found out accreditation doesn't always mean you will find a job. I almost finished the whole course of study but it was time and money wasted. I have changed my major at least seven times. I can't seem to find one thing that interests me. Finally I applied at a state university for their online distance ed program in general studies. I signed up for four classes in a nine month program. I wanted to give myself plenty of time to work on my school work. I was doing well and going to finish everything on time but then half way through I had family issues that took me away from my studies and my job. I have had to care for my infant granddaughter who was born prematurely. She is a special needs child and takes 24 hour care. My deadline to complete my course work is up in May and I am so far behind I don't think I can finish all four classes. I don't know what to do now. I feel like a failure. I just want the skills to get a better job and it seems like I have been just spinning my wheels. I at least would like to get an associates degree because it seems as though even entry level jobs require that. I am afraid that I will finish and have a bunch of student loans and will either not be able to find work or not be able to make enough to pay my loans.

I was just like to have a leaf in my coffee. Is there some special kind of cream he used for the effect?

I have osteoarthritis and it is causing chronic pain in my back. I can get through the work day ok but my company is having mandatory OT all the time and it is wearing me out. By the end of the day I can barely walk to my car. I don't want to be on disability. I want to work my job, but I can't do this OT much longer. Any advice?

My husband bought a bread maker. The first few loaves of bread we made were great. Now all of the sudden the bread won't rise to the top. We have tried different types of yeast, and a variety of different ingredients, such as wheat flour, rye flour, beer. The loaves only rise half way? Any suggestions?

I have a small flower garden behind our garage. It gets partial sun. Everything I plant back there gets over run with these weeds. They are vines and they have spade shaped leaves. They wrap around the flowers and choke them out. I have tried landscape fabric, mulch, weedkiller, and pouring vinegar on them in the hot sun but they keep coming back. I am getting so discouraged. Any suggestions?

My Son moved in with his girlfriend of 1 yr last summer. One month after they moved into the apartment, she told him she needed "Space" and wanted to see other people. She moved out of the bedroom and made the dining room her bedroom by hanging sheets up over the door way. My Son went to the apartment manager and said he either wanted to move out or for her to move out. The manager told him he was bound by lease and would pay penalties if he left. In spite of being hurt, he decided to make the most of it and co exist to avoid paying extra costs. Then, when he started ignoring her and living his own life, she starts getting drunk and abusive. She has burned him with a cigarette, she hits him and kicks him and dares him to hit her back. His sisters want to go over there and kick her butt. I keep telling them she isn't worth going to jail over. The management keeps telling him he can't leave because he can afford the apartment and she can't afford it by herself, but they still won't make her leave. I think he should just break the lease and move on. She also kicked the bedroom door in and now there are damages to the apartment. I would appreciate any opinions. My Son says it is the money that makes him stay but I think maybe he is still hanging on to her in some way.

My kitchen is about 9ft by 6ft. rectangle shaped. The kitchen sink and cabinets are along one end of it and the kitchen door leading outside is on the other. I think we should get rid of the table and chairs and put a bar along the wall under the window. My husband thinks it would make our space problem worse. I think it would not only give us more room to cook on but we could sit at the bar to eat our meals. does any one agree with me?

I believe that my husband and I are twin souls. He is the male version of me. We are so much alike in our thoughts and actions it is scary at times. I want to know how many people believe there are twin souls out there?

I read an article about Arby's fast food restaurants not doing well in this economy and I wondered how many people out there eat at their restaurants and if you don't why?

Personally, I like the food ok but they are a bit pricey.
