I have a sixth grade boy in my class who refuses to check out a book, let alone read one. He reads our "core" selection that comes along with our basal reader, but he refuses to read anything else.

I have downloaded some books onto his Ipod. He refuses to read anything that resembles a book: magazines, graphic novels, etc. Any other ideas?

Everyone had a favorite teacher, what made them different? What made them better than the rest?

The site that provided me with the score says that it is equivalent to a "C grade." I am 22, own my own home, and usually pay my bills on time. Is 782 a good score? Considering my age? Thank you.

There are 3-4 steady little streams of water coming into my basement. One of the streams is coming from a small crack in the wall. Is there anything I can do about this myself instead of hiring someone?

There is currently a "force flush" toilet down there. It is raised over one foot off of the ground on a box to "force the flush." It looks pretty ghetto. How can I avoid the "force flush" system?
