Recently my car was broken into, and today as I went to check it, I noticed the doors were locked when I thought I left them unlocked. It could be I'm just mistaken, but assuming I'm not, what does it mean when I unlock the door to my car and the horn is sounding off in short intervals (short honk followed by another). I have fears someone may have been driving my vehicle as I think they may have stolen a spare key (my fault completely for forgetting about it, and I know it's stupid, I'm paying the consequences for my actions).

The light bulb in my porcelain figure is stuck inside, and trying to get it out is like pulling an arrow out of one's flesh, it just doesn't want to cone out. I have an idea but don't want to damage the figure. Does anyone here have any ideas for me?

I can't get a picture downloaded, but it's a light bulb with black metal 'springs' that you squeeze together to insert the bulb inside or to remove.

It's like this. My gf needs dental work, namely a tooth removed, multiple root canals and crowns, and maybe a filling. She first has an appointment to remove the bad tooth, goes in for the appointment, then they spring these other diagnoses on her. Needless to say they didn't remove the abscess tooth. Now they say she needs her doctor's approval for all this dental work. 

I have never in my life heard anything like that before. Needing a doctor's note for dental work? I've had plenty of dental work done, including fillings, root canals, crowns and wisdom teeth removal, and I never needed anyone's permission but my own and my wallet's. It was always MY choice to get this work done, and not because I got permission from a man in a white coat

An abscess, wisdom teeth and impacted teeth are no joke, I know all too well, so this sounds like some seriously shady stuff to me.

Individual reasons and cases may differ, but can anyone give me a blanket answer as to why someone would need a doctor's note for dental work?

Things in my current relationship are a little sour right now. We've dated for 2 years, and have known each other for 15+ years. I've offered her a home with me where I would take care of her, but legal troubles keep holding us back. I've been fearing for some time that there is no future for us based on our current situation. 

With that in mind, I'm considering playing the field, just to see if perhaps there is someone better out there for me. I'm not looking for a fling or a hookup. I've had way too many of those in my younger days, and have hurt a lot of people with my actions. I'm looking for an independent woman who lives close by me, and am looking for a meaningful relationship. 

Again, this isn't because I don't love who I'm with now, but there are so many obstacles to overcome, such as distance and legal obstacles, I'm just trying to determine if I need a new path in life. Do I need to stay and persevere, or do I need a new way? That is the question, which I hope to answer some day.

A few days ago, 2 men with a small auto repair business, specializing in dents, scratches, paint jobs, etc, did a job for me. They purchased rustoleum, primer and commercial paint from a manufacturer, and completed the job for me.

Several days later, these 2 guys call me telling me that the products they used were recalled by the manufacturer because their products were causing damage to vehicles. My job was a large job, and the door where the work was done was starting to rust. Now I have to get another paint job, which I am being reimbursed for by the manufacturer plus a percentage on top, but I'm still out the money I paid for the first job. 20-30 other people are probably out their money too.

I'm not sure who I should be mad at more, the manufacturer for selling these guys paint and materials they recalled shortly after, or the 2 men who worked on my vehicle for not checking up on something that may or may not have been in their control. Question is, could this be grounds for lawsuit against 1 or more parties?

I'm trying to hook up my Nintendo64 to my flat screen TV, but I can't even get a picture on the screen. I just bought a converter, but I'm not sure it'll be enough to make it work. Some details about my TV, it has 720p resolution, 2 hdm1 inputs, 1 USB input. I've tried to change the input, but it doesnt seem to help. Anyone have some advice?

I want my girlfriend to move in with me, but she has a minor physical disability, partial paralysis. She tires easily and has some trouble walking, but is not completely helpless. She is well over 18, when most young adults can leave if they so choose. I want her to move in with me, and she wants to move in with me, away from her tyrant of a mother. The problem is that I'm afraid her mother will call the cops on me. Can my girlfriend legally move away from her mother under these circumstances, and can her mother legally stop her from moving or me from helping her move in with me?

While checking the mail tonight I saw a green slip in my mailbox. It said that the mailing service shows my residence as vacated, but I've been living at that address since March of 2018. I was receiving mail normally up to this point, so why would I be receiving this notice now?

My 2009 Chevrolet Malibu has some damage in various places. There's a very large deep scratch on one of the doors, various smaller scratches, the windshield needs a few chips filled in, and most recently, my front end above my license plate is a bit smooshed with a fairly big dent by the headlight. I'm considering either investing in auto body repair, or just buying another car. Ideally, I dont want a car with any visible damage, but I have to think realistically too. How should I go about making my decision?

I moved less than 6 months ago from Pierce county in Washington to Snohomish county, also in Washington. Am I legally allowed to send in my ballot. I haven't had the opportunity to change my registration information up to this point.

For the last 10 years or so, I've been looking to complete a set of these halloween themed lamps I'vehad since I was a kid. I don't know who made them, or where I can find them. I have the Life Pawn Shop, the Spider Circus, and the Spooky Dentist lamps. The other 3 are the Waxwork Museum, the Midnight Cafe, and the Last Farewell Station. I think these lamps were retired 20 years ago or so, but can anyone help me find the rest of them please? I'm having difficulty posting pictures, so I'll do that later if you have any ideas.

I'm a student in the medical field, and should be doing my internship at my clinical site, but due to the screw up of the coordination team in charge of placement of students, I haven't been able to go. I've lost 2 days already, and am probably going to lose another unless I can get my badge to enter the facility in the next day or so. Seeing as I've already paid for the quarter of school, turned in all required paperwork, gotten all required shots, and have loat several days of work already, do I have any grounds for a lawsuit?

I ordered a package, and it is being sent to my current address, but I'm moving and the package may not arrive before I officially move out. If I were to file for a change in address at my local post office today, would that package be redirected to the new address, or would it still be mailed to the address I provided when I ordered it?

Me and my girlfriend have been dating for over 4 years now (its long distance if you want to call that a relationship). Now, we barely talk, we're doing nothing but arguing over our future together, and just from what I've heard, I can't stand her parents. I'm training for a new and better paying job, and should have it and a new place to live by the 1st of the year, if everything goes well. 5 months go by fast, so I want to talk and plan out our new life together now, but she never wants to talk about it. She says I'm overwhelming her with questions. I wouldn't ask so many questions if she'd just talk with me more. And get this, her excuse is that she's always busy with her family, who she is not on good terms with lately. I get that family is important, but every day for nearly 2 years now? I seriously don't believe anyone has that many family functions. The more I think about it, the more likely it is I think she's hiding something. Or at the very least, she may be an adult, but has the mind of a child. Should i just let her go and move on?

Or are there any plans to for it to be released in English? I'm getting minorly annoyed that i have to wait 6 months for the next volume of manga, and I don't speak Japanese, which I wish I could.

Today i got a notification on my cell phone, an Account Action Required notification, and it's asking me to sign in. I have it on a 2 step verification setting, which I'm immediately regretting, it sucks and is making this more complicated than it needs to be. I enter my password for my google account, I tell it to send a text message to my phone for a 6 digit verification code, and it keeps giving me an error message, so I can't take action like the notice says I need to. What the hell am I supposed to do if I can't even get a verification code? What kind of action could possibly be needed in this case? If it's something stupid, I'm going to feel really stupid. Any thoughts on this? Thanks

Also, who came up with this term, and what makes it different from just being racism? It seems like racism is racism no matter who it's directed at.

Sadly, my friend never got her Christmas present in the mail (It was mostly my fault, I forgot to put her apartment number on the shipping address, but her building's address was still correct). It was shipped via USPS with a tracking number which says it was delivered. However, I made the same blunder a while back, and it was declared undeliverable by USPS and returned to sender. Why did the same thing not happen this time? I forgot the apartment number again, and tracking says delivered, which may or may not be true. Could someone else have signed for it since it was kind if an expensive gift (over $150 to be exact)

Oddest thing is that the tracking number says it was delivered on December 9th, but she hasn't received it yet. Could it be in her office's mailbox or could it have been delivered to a wrong address? Last time this happened the package was sent back to the warehouse where i got it from, and i called to arrange a corrected delivery address, though this situation is a little different, as the tracking info says it was delivered. What can I do at this point if anything?
