I am looking to purchase my first iMAC computer. 24” LCD, 2.8Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB memory, 320GB HD & ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO 256MB video card.

My first question is, looking at the specs, it says upgradeable to 4GB so-dimms, 800Mhz DDR2 SDRAM. Does the iMAC have 2 slots of 2GB each for a total of 4GB RAM or does it have 4 slots of 1GB each for a total of 4GB RAM? Also what memory manufacturer would be a good choice?

My other question is, I’d like to replace the video card. Would an nVidia by EVGA GeForce 8600GTS 512MB DDR3 graphics card be a good choice or a nVidia GeForce 8800 GS 512MB GDDR3 video card. And will each it fit ok?

Also what is a good anti-virus software that is available for the iMAC.?

I've seen more of this type driving out there. No common sense driving. They think that, ok I'm in my car and I'm in my zone and nothing will get in my way. I think that some or all have experienced this.

Here is another simple thing that drivers always forget to do. The turn signals in their vehicles. It really is a simple process of just moving the lever up or down. Turn signals lets the other drives know what you are goin to do. If you are going to turn left with the left turn signal blinking, don't suddenly turn right because you changed your mind. Use the mirrors as well. You have three of them use it!

Is it rude that a person constantly uses the cell phone, anywhere, while in the speaker phone function. I really don't need to hear what you are talking about nor what the other person is saying. If the speaker phone is not enough, the cell phone owner yells at the top of their lungs thinking that would help transmitt the response. There has to be some common sense to this, right.

Just ran into this situation this afternoon. Why would any driver do this? Is there no common sense at all with this driver? There was barely enough room to drive through one side. To top it off, she honked the horn at me. I wasn't the one who was facing the wrong way. Please don't get me wrong. There are a lot more sensible female drivers out there. But this one takes the cake.

Reason is that, I know what channel its on. I don't need to be constantly reminded by their staion icon. If I need to know what channel it is, I can push the button on the remote that says display or recall. When did they start doing this anyway? Or am I the only one that notices this?
