Hello,

I'm wondering what specs I should look out for in a new laptop I'm getting soon, one of the reasons is to play Minecraft smoothly.

I've tried Minecraft on 3 laptops:

--eMachines D620 (Current laptop, had it for 3 years, didn't expect it to run well anyway)--

AMD Athlon 64 1.6GHz

2GB RAM

ATI Radeon X1200 (I think?)

Get about 7fps in single-player.

--Acer Aspire 5532--

AMD Athlon 64 1.6GHz

3GB RAM

ATI Radeon HD3200 with up to 1408MB HyperMemory(tm) (I think?)

Roughly the same as the other laptop, about 10fps

--ASUS K53E (Just bought the other day)--

Intel Core i3-2310M 2.1GHz

4GB RAM

GPU unknown!

Performs ok, but not bearable for me, runs at like 20fps sometimes then the rest of the time it lags more and drops to like 10fps.

So I'm guessing it's a powerfull CPU that I should be looking for? From what I've read the requirements say single-core is recommended yet dual-core laptops seems to perform better. All laptops I tried it on I tried the different settings, obviously low helped but it was still unbearable with the lagging. Maybe an i5 at 2.5GHz would do it? I've got 2GB of RAM I can add to the laptop so if it's got low RAM it's no big deal.

I've not really got a budget, but I'd say around the £400 mark. Mind you I've not a clue where to buy a laptop from that's cheap but trustworthy lol :/.

Could someone explain how versioning works in apps, like what I would change 1.0 to if I made a minor change or a major change. And what does each number signify when you have something like 1.0.0.1?

My imagination went wild today!

OK, I don't know if this is an actual horror film or if it was a dream.

Basically, I remember a tiny bit from a scene of a horror film.

It's night, and there's a woman on her bed blow drying her hair, then suddenly she starts to rise to the roof as if there's suddenly no gravity, then some wierd worm type thing covers the doors inside the house trapping the woman in her room and also her child in his room.

That's all I remember from a scene of a horror film I watched vaguely 6+ years ago, I've forgotten the name and don't remember anything else that happens in it, does anyone know any films with a scene similar to this?

1) How much do they charge if you want to leave a contract within like the first 3 months

2) Are the contracts cheaper if you buy them in store?

I'm 15, and usually like a few times I month I get this pain on the left of my left nipple (from my view)

It kind of feels like a gentle throbbing pain and sometimes it can be on the other side of my upper chest, but most of the time it's on the left.

I'm worrying that this can be a dangerous sign. But I hope it's just growing pains of some kind.

OK so I installed Ubuntu last night alongside Windows Vista, but now when I select Windows Vista, it loads the eMachines (The make of my laptop) recovery program and not Windows Vista :S

Also, how would I remove Vista, I wanted to keep it incase I changed my mind later on in the future but I may as well get rid of it now I have an even better OS!

How, in PHP, would I output say like a HTML table row making it change the class, basically so that each table row goes in this pattern:

How would I go about making the PHP array equivilent of this XML, to be encoded in JSON:

Then how would I access each value of the JSON array after decoding?

1) What Does It Delete? Text Messages etc.?

I'm trying to make a script that has for example 3 images in an array. I want to call a function every 2 seconds that selects the next image from the array, and changed an image's src to the value of the selected array key. I also want it to go back to the first array key when it has done the last one. My script just doesn't seem to change the src of the target image. Here's my script so far (images purposely took out of the array):

What columns should I have?

Should I store each setting in a seperate row?

Should I store all settings for a specific PHP application in one row as XML/JSON?

I've noticed on my website in Google Chrome that the text input type has a yellow background and a grey border with like differtent shades. Basically, it doesn't look like a normal text input would.

It looks like this until I click on the text input, then it goes normal.

I haven't applied any CSS to the text input on my site, yet it looks horrible in my opinion.

How can I stop this? What CSS should I apply to text inputs on my site to make them look normal?

I'm making a settings table for my site, and I will have lots of different areas of settings.

I was wondering if there was a way in MySQL that you can click on a table for example called 'settings' and then it comes up with a list of other tables?

I know I can just use a colum with the setting group and select the records where the setting group colum matches XXXXX.
