A Englishman is relocated to Scotland for work. On his first day he arrives at the office and parks his brand new Porsche in front of the office to show it off
to his colleagues.
As he's getting out of the car, a lorry comes speeding along too
close to the kerb and takes off the door before zooming off.
More than a little distraught, the Man grabs his mobile and
calls the police.
Five minutes later, the police arrive. Before the policeman
has a chance to ask any questions,
the man starts screaming hysterically: 'My Porsche, my beautiful
silver Porsche is ruined. No matter how long it's at the panel
beaters it'll simply never be the same again!'
After the man finally finishes his rant, the policeman shakes his head
in disgust.
I can't believe how materialistic you bloody English are,'
he says. 'You lot are so focused on your possessions that you
don't notice anything else in your life.'
How can you say such a thing at a time like this?' sobs the Porsche
Owner.
The policeman replies, 'Didn't you realize
that your right arm was torn off when the truck hit
you.'
The Man looks down in
horror.

The customer picks up the glass, smells the wine, and puts it down on
the table with a thud. 'This is not the 1928 Mouton.'
The waiter assures him it is, and soon there are another twenty people
surrounding the table, including the chef and the manager trying to
convince the man that the wine is the 1928 Mouton. Finally someone
asks him how he knows that it is not the 1928 Mouton.
'My name is Phillipe de Rothschild, and I make the wine.'
Finally, the original waiter steps forward and admits that he poured
the Clerc Milon 1928.
'I could not bear to part with our last bottle of 1928 Mouton. You
know Clerc Milon, it is in the same village as Mouton, you pick the
grapes at the same time, the same cepage, you crush in the same way,
you put them into similar barrels. You bottle at the same time, you
even use eggs from the same chickens to fine them. The wines are the
same, except for a small matter of geographic location.'
Rothschild beckons the waiter forward, and whispers to him, 'When you return home tonight, ask your girlfriend to remove her underwear. Put one finger in one opening, another finger in the other, then smell
both the fingers. You will understand what difference a small distance
in geographic location makes.'

Le service d'aube de Villers-Bretonneux commence le premier service officiel d'aube honorant les milliers de soldats australiens de Première Guerre Mondiale qui sont morts en France commencé dans la ville française rurale de Villers-Bretonneux. Le bruit des cornemuses a salué les milliers d'Australiens presentent pour le service au mémorial national australien sur les périphéries de la ville. La celebration du quatre-vingt-dixième anniversaire des Australiens reprennant la ville de Villers-Bretonneux le jour d'Anzac en 1918, stoppant l'avance allemande vers Paris. Plus de 1.500 soldats(diggers) ont été tués pendant la bataille et beaucoup y sont enterres . Environ 46.000 soldats australiens ont été tués en France et en Belgique pendant le WWI. Les noms et les villes natales de 10.771 soldats australiens sont inscrits sur un monument.
