I have an IT degree and an MBA that I have completed along with a partially completed marketing graduate programme as well. The job I am doing has nothing to do with IT because I'm functioning as a Marketer in mid manager level. But now I regret not choosing to work in the field of IT because I believed that I would not fit into the industry, as there was no one to guide me properly.

Since recently, I have developed a profound passion towards IT, Analytics and Machine Learning as I have started reading about various inventions that have been published online. I understand that I do not have any practical knowledge of software engineering or anything in IT at all, apart for theoretical knowledge. This is exactly why I'm looking for some expert advice about a point of start. Let it be a new job or a new skill, I am willing to do anything to break away from my current field of work.

I do not know how viable it would be to start a bachelor degree over again or how possible it is to change my field of work easily. 

I have used both these services on the same exact device under the same apple ID and password.

I had both my mobile number and also the apple ID as the usernames. I could send and receive under both these.

But this was a mess. I wanted to use my number only. So I just removed my apple ID from the list of user names and started using just the phone number, on my iPhone. Next, I did the same on the iPad. (iPad air) and then for some reason I had to sign out from iMessages on my iPad. Not immediately, maybe a few weeks later. Maybe after an update.

Now at this moment I was using just the phone number. So I tried to log in to imessages on iPad but it failed saying failed to activate. I typed my apple ID and then my password but it doesn't log in. Says 'Failed to activate'. I thought this was because I removed my email ID from the list on my iPhone earlier. I tried to add that to it but it also failed.

Now I am stuck because the only option i had for my iPad to use iMessages is to use the apple ID since it doesnt have a SIM. What should I do?

I live in an acres large land wit my house built in the middle. Call it an estate. Inside this land we have our own private road that leads to the main road (gate) that connects us to other humans. Its a paved road but strictly for the use of household only because it leads to the house only, not across it. Is there anyway i can add this road on the google maps so that it will tell me to exit from the gate rather than asking me to jump over the fence behind my house to goto the road behind my backyard?

I have a pressing matter. :P I play Clash of Clans and I'm friggin tired of something. My castle has a level 3 wall encircling it without a gap. But every attacker gets to jump into it without having to walk through the wall. I noticed that the ones who get to jump most are the Giants. My Town Center or whatever is not exactly in the centre but little to the side. could that be the problem? Let me know if you know.

Can someone please explain to me if it is possible to download PS3 games from the internet and burn them on blank DVDs and play using those? Do I have to jailbreak or something? Someone help, I got a great deal just moving away from me. 380 for console+4controllers+11games

I have an old 3GS 16GB. Today, I found out that my phone doesn't make any sound from its built in speakers when I play music on its iPod. Even the volume bar isn't there. But I can hear music when I plug earphones or external speakers. Also it rings and produces all those alert sounds except when the screen locks or the tapping sound when I type. I can goto Settings --> Sounds and play any ringtone too.

Sometimes the sound comes and goes when I hold it upright for some time. Like RIGHT NOW, I can hear the tapping sound while I'm typing and it may disappear if I tilt the device to any other direction. While the sound remains, if I check my iPod, the volume bar will be there.

Does anyone know what could be causing this problem? Speaker hasn't burnt because I can hear ringtones etc too and right now I can hear the tapping too. Oh! :P Yes it hasnt disappeared yet. Lol. But when I tilt it this way like This, its going to be gone...see ita gone now.

The reason why I'm not selling or getting a new iPhone is because I need to keep all the messages I got from my girl friend. ;) Don't wanna delete those. So if anyone knows a solution to this and also how to transfer SMS from one to the another iphone, let me know FAST for 10 points.

I have an Acer laptop. About 2 year old. Since recently its been having trouble starting up. I press the power button and I see the black and white screen where it loads all the BIOS etc and then when Windows 7 starts to load, it just completely and suddenly turns off with a click. Click comes from the hard disk's arm I guess...which is not good. So when I press the power button again, it asks me to go for windows restoration and when i select that, the laptop restores itself to some previous date I do not know when and it restarts and works fine. But sometimes it crashes during that restarting too. It takes about 4 or 5 tries to get windows to open and work fine. It never crashes after start up is done or while im working with it. So i guess there isn't any hardware failure on it. Will I have to reinstall windows or is there any way to repair it without formatting windows off hard? I don't have a windows dvd with me. Just don't want my poor laptop to suffer and me afterwards. Thanks folks.

I'm writing a research paper for my Marketing subject and the given topic to follow is LED (light fixtures) marketing. I have to write it by assuming myself as a new Marketing Manager of the company. So I have been chosen to act in a Bollywood (Hindi - Indian)movie but my mom keeps pestering me to find a job. I'm an IT graduate and all but my passion is to act. I've been acting for months now and this is the biggest opportunity I have been offered. Working at an office is the sickest thing I know of but it lets you gain experience. The movie is starting next month. So, I have no idea what to do because my mom is very uneasy about me not doing a job yet. I'm 23 and that worries her too thinking I'm too late to goto a job.

Can someone please help me convince my mom that acting in a Bollywood movie is one in a billion's chance than doing a job and how to get her permission to act in the movie? I can do a job after filming is done.

Hi I'm an over weight guy. I need to cut down my extra weight and build some muscles. Trainer at the gym told me to buy Animal Cuts and I already got it. Apart from that, I have a 2lbs of creatine from Sixstar.

I was wondering if it'll be beneficial to use both at the same time so I can loose weight and gain muscles simultaneously. Does it work that way? Has anyone tried? Or will I just explode??? O_o

I've recently been attending a salsa class. On the very first day I was early like 2 hours early and there was already another aerobics class of some middle aged women in the same room. Salsa was after that. While I waited, I saw a girl almost my age (23). She was alone and her body language signed me that she was kinda anxious. So I talked to her and turned out she's new too. She became very friendly that we sat on the same bench and talked until my friend arrived. A guy from my school. Same age as ours. Eventually the place was full of people who came to learn to salsa. It was fun. Another week passed and here I am in love with her. It's not a love at first sight. It was a love that came within after I got to know her. It feels nice and warm.

Later on, my friend once told me that he's in love with that girl too. I never told him about me having a crush on the same girl. But I knew from the start that he liked her because I kinda am an expert in reading body language. His tone, his posture and everything yelled out loud about his crush at her. I can't possibly think of anything to do about this because I don't want to loose my 15 year old friendship with him too because I don't have many friends and he's a really good guy. I'm like his best friend. But I still like her and didn't show anything of it yet since that's gonna ruin my friends hopes. It's a desperate situation for me because I don't want to act mean here. Right now I'm helping him decypher the girl's attributes. LOL. He's crazy about her, I know that so well.

Something I felt since first day is that she's more open with me than with my friend. She's more friendly and confident with me too. Today on facebook chat, my friend (guy) said the same that he sometimes feels jealous about me because of the exact reason. I told him that its probably because she met me initially and him afterwards, through me. I know she likes me but I'm not sure whether she likes my friend.

Few things I must mention which I think will help you analyze this deeper are that my friend and that girl is both the same height. I'm like a foot taller to both of them. :P I'm fair (Indian golden tan type), good built. My friend i mentioned is, of her height, mildly dark in complextion. He's a software engineer + magician. I'm a last year IT student + actor + model. (not that popular yet but some give me this creepy "where have I seen you??" look or just come talk to me) I know it's dumb to say that I act but thought it could help because she knows all these.

So the question is, should I help my friend get the girl because i know he'll die without her. I'm being more sympathetic that I can give up my love for her for my friend's happiness. I'm actually controlling myself.

Another thing I must mention is that I'm in love with the 'person' in that body. So friendly, light hearted, easily impressed and so alluring. This is not a love at first sight but this is like something that built up on its own by understanding her. And she is very pretty indeed. We three are still meeting up every week for salsa. I just have no idea what to do or where this is heading...

I have an iPhone 3GS and its jailbroken and unlocked since I'm not from a country where iPhones are sold by Apple but people. lol. So I;ve been wanting to install a newer version of iOS to my phone. I think the current one is 5.0.1 or something and that has a jailbreak and and unlock.

so my question is, if I update my iOS while having all my note and SMSs and voice memos in the phone, will they be lost during the update? SMSs are the most important here.

Or can i browse through the file system to find that SMS.db file and take a copy of it to replace it later after the update is done? I doubt that because iOS 5 has this iMessage thing so I was thinking if it would make a mess by replacing the old SMS.db file from iOS 4.0 to iOS 5.0.1.

First I should mention that I'm 21 years old. Certain things that I have always liked have become pretty problematic to me now. This is the most pressing one these days. Although my mum has her own room and her own bed in her room, she still sleeps with me. She says she's actually having nightmares and crazy dreams when she's sleeping alone in that room. No she's not ready to switch rooms either. I don't know how to ask her to move out of my room because she loves me too much and even thinking of such gives me pain. I just feel wrong. She's not the kind of person who sleeps with my dad for some personal reason. Don't misunderstand. LOL. I have two beds in my room. One for her and one for me. It's because of the bed she's coming to sleep. Moving the bed away will make both of us feel worse. So, actually the issue here is privacy. No its not like I wanna bring people and 'you know' over for 'something'. I just want to be independent. Even right now, she's sleeping here in my room. Can you please tell me how I can get her to live in her own room. She has a bed in her room and everything else. You name it she has it. Even her own treadmill and TV but she's still coming here. By the way, she's like REALLY sensitive like a soap bubble. I don't wanna argue or pop her to cry. I just want her to realize. She does not understand though she actually should...

I did something really stupid. I turned off my laptop intentionally when it was asking me not to shut it down while it was installing windows updates. I was actually in a hurry. So after it restarted, most of the hardware like the web cam and the sounds were not working. So I had to reinstall Windows 7. It came with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 but I installed Ultimate 64.

After the installation was completed. All the drives were automatically installed but only the WiFi was not working. i can't even switch it on. I searched everywhere for drivers. I don't know the name of the hardware either. I tried on Gateway site's download. They have drivers for Vista 64 but nothing for 7. I checked which brand of wifi hardware I have and it turned out to be a broadcom.

Anybody can help? I need to find a driver. Vista 64 does not work. it asks me to log in as an admin. But I'm already logged in as an admin.

I’m 21. She’s 20. I have planned to take my crush out for a day. She’s a girl…in case you ask! And this is gonna be sorta an expensive one. That’d be the day I’d ask her to be my girl. It may be a dinner or a lunch, depending on how she’s gonna be comfortable with. She won’t know a thing until she actually experiences it. Anyway, she has already agreed on coming with me. She thinks I’m gonna give her my birthday treat! :D

This is about how I’m gonna do it. I need some advices in regard…because I want her to love it and THIS to be perfect!

The place I’ve chosen is one of the best hotels in Sri Lanka. A Five-Star Hotel in Colombo. I have already visited the place and this is gonna take place on the 14th floor. The hotel stays right infront of the Galle Face beach in western Colombo. There’s only about 2 meters to the shore from the hotel. So it’s really really and REALLY close. Didn’t pick ‘Hilton’ for the fact that it’s a little bit far off from the sea and it doesn’t have a clear view of the ocean.The scenery from the hotel I’ve picked is beautiful through those wide glass panes all the way down from the top to bottom. And the dusk from there is heavenly! The table I’m gonna reserve will have a vase full of her favorite flowers (wine red roses), and a bowl of white chocolates (she loves ‘em) and her favourite music will be playing softly.

She would not know a thing about where she would be going until I remove her blind folds! =) Yeah, and she’s gonna be blind folded all the way in the car or from half way (I’d probably hire a nice taxi or something sometimes) and all the way through the hotel’s lobby and all the way to that glass pane on 14th floor! That’s when I’d remove her blind folds (I saved one of those that they give on air planes to sleep wearing LOL) and see what happens to her face! I’m gonna get her to keep listening to my iPod while in the taxi, so that she won’t hear me giving directions to the dirver! Heh heh…

She’s a vegetarian. So I’d arrange a veg buffet, as discussed with the hotel person I met ,who would help me with the whole customization process and video/photo shooting. I prefer evidence than memories which can vanish eventually.

After we have the meals, I’m gonna ask her to dance with me. It’s gonna be a slow, romantic one with limited cuzzin. Please suggest some good songs or music tracks to which u can dance ballroom like the ones in that movie called “SHALL WE DANCE?”. So, after the music track ends, that’s where I’d pause and pop the question. Do I have to kneel before her for that? Cause, I’m not proposing her for engagement. I wonder if that would be appropriate.

Please tell me if there are any modifications I have to do to make the day more special. And help me with the songs and a pose for popping the question. Besides, what kind of attrire is suitable? Don’t forget that she’d be unaware of where she’d be going.

The reason behind why I’m doing all this, is that I want her to love remembering the way I asked. I want her to know how special she is. And I want her to know how much I love her…
