I have an iPod Touch that won't be recognized by iTunes when I plug it into my computer. This is a problem that just started happening. I know the computer recognizes it, because the icon appears on my iPod display that says it's hooked up to power, and it's charging. But it doesn't appear in the list of songs and devices on iTunes. I updated iTunes to the most recent version, but it's still not helping. Any thoughts?

Ticketmaster doesn't have anything on it, and the NHL's website, while it has a whole section about the game on New Year's day in Chicago between the Blackhawks and Red Wings, doesn't say anything about tickets.

Anyone know what to do?

So, I'm watching the women's volleyball at the Beijing Olympics, and I figured this would be a good time to get a question answered I've always had.

Why do the six-man volleyball teams have one player on the floor with a different color uniform? Is that player a captain or something, or do rules allow him/her to do things that other players aren't allowed to do?

I've checked three or four different websites that end in .gov, and managed to find out what party I'm affiliated with (none), but I couldn't figure out how to change to a Democratic affiliation so I can vote in the primary. I've never registered with one party or the other -- how do I go about this?

John Cena seems like a guy who works hard, brings it every time he's in the ring, knows how to work the mike, and can entertain.

He's not the most technically gifted guy in the world, but neither were The Rock or Stone Cold, and it didn't hurt them.

What exactly is it that turns people off so much?
