I was at a Bible study Saturday night, and while we were worshipping, all of us had balls of fire over our heads and the wall was on fire.

I ask because of 1 Kings 18:24:
And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the Lord: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken.
This means if God did not answer and Baal answered, Elijah was willing to serve their God. It would take a lot of boldness and faith to go in my backyard and tell a bunch of people that my God would put a fire under a bullock.
Pharaoh and Moses were both able to throw down their staff and they became snakes. Pharaoh worshipped a false God. So if Elijah heard about Moses and Pharaoh, why couldn't he start a fire? He was able to make a staff turn into a serpent.
That would make me think, if this false god through Pharaoh was able to make some piece of wood turn into a serpent, why wouldn't he be able to bring a fire.
ELIJAH WAS BOLD...willing to serve their god if he could produce a fire. I don't know what I would do. I know my God is real, but I don't know if He'll start a fire for me in the backyard.

All that's coming to me is there are some people who are worshipping a false god. They are crying out to their false god, but he isn't answering them.
The man of God begins to mock them when their god doesn't answer, and I think he tells them maybe their god is on the toilet.
Thanks for the help.
