I live in an apartment that loves to trap heat and the sun just bursts its way in though the windows in my 15x20x8 room. I need an AC that will keep my nice and chilly but be energy efficient. I only have a 115v socket in the room so that should narrow it down some.

Can anyone recommend a min & max BTU that I should be shopping for? Also a name brand that you guys like would be very awesome too!

So I'm looking to buy a GPS unit for my mom. She doesn't own a cell/smartphone so that's not an option.

I would like one that doesn't require a subscription. (I don't know if thats possible or not)

It has be to able to be updated so I can keep updated info on it. (I understand some GPS units can have outdated info on them)

It also has to have clear voice info. ie, it has to tell me to turn right on elm street vs turn right in 400ft. (again, I don't know if its possible, but It would be nice if it were)

So is there a GPS unit that meets me requirements? My mom is old and she doesn't mix well with technology so I need it to be easy to use, understand and it cant get her lost lol

When I was a kid my mother use to buy me these Molasses cookies. They were pretty soft and they were rounded. I want to say they were flower shaped but they really weren't. They were round with rounded petals. They came in a red box.but it wasn't a solid box. It was thin cardboard and had some exposed spots covered with cellophane .

So I loved these as a kid, they were yummy and whatnot and I cannot remember the brand name. No clue what they were called. I cant find them at the stores either so I was hoping to look online for them.

OK folks, just bought an inspiron 580 and she came with a ATI 5450 but I'm thinking im going to go with an 5670. I'm looking for a slim card since the case is very tight and one that wont require a pci-e power connector and just draw power from the PCI-E slot.

So can anyone recomend a card with more beef than a 5670 thats small enough to fit and doesnt require a pcie power connector?

So there's a scene in return of the jedi where the emperor and vader discuss hiding the fleet behind endor to setup the trap and he sends vader to go meet up with luke. In these scene the emperor can been seen with two guys in purple. They dont speak at all and towards the end of the scene, when vader walks away , the emperor walks up to them to have a quick chat.

my question is, who are these two guys? what are their names? do they even have names?

I am having a hard time finding gun/rifle catalogs to subscribe to. Most of the websites I find only offer PDF catalogs but I'm looking for a paper mag to hold and actually read. So far the only one that I've found is Midway but they only had gun accessories and ammo.

So if anyone could suggest a gun/rifle manufacturer or a gun/rifle website that sends you free paper catalogs, that would be awesome.

I couple of years ago I read this book that featured a rag-tag team who were put together to break into a building/house. One of the characters in the book was a clown or jester of sorts. I believe they gave some back story on him and he was a gymnast maybe and his father forced him to do it. He had the ability to really contort his body and in the book he uses that power to sneak down an air vent. I think he also wore white or gray clothing. They book also featured a character that was in some way tied to big cats, African big cats and a tough brooding guy.

I wish I could be more descriptive but I don't remember much,.

I'm just curious.. What would happen if you mixed rubbing alcohol and sulfuric acid together? What would happen if you applied diluted sulfuric acid to an iron tube and than added water to that metal? Would it rust? Would it remove rust?

I'm just curious if there would be any reaction at all.

I don't really recall the episode very well but I know at the end data has to drop something into some sort of distortion. While in the process he encounters several versions of him self. He even talks to the other versions of himself who are all just a couple of seconds ahead of behind of him. He asks his doubles which one is the correct "data" that needs to do perform the action needed to save the day. There was a cool mirrored effect when data came across his selves.

Thats pretty much I remember.

I use to use PCanywhere but it seems to be dead and im looking for a free or open source version to use. I tried "Crossloop" but that requires a person to be on the other side to allow the connection.

I need something that will allow me to view and use my PC at home while im at work and a free option would be great. Ive seen that "Goto mypc" stuff but I refuse to pay for it lol

First of all, I want to thank anyone who reads and reply's to this. I have been searching all over the internet for what I want but I can't seem to find it. Everywhere I look I find trash.

OK heres what I need/want.

Wireless IR headphones.

Rechargeable with long life batterys.

An option to use it corded in case the battery dies (I can live with out this if I have to)

Has to be good for music and movies.

Has to be IR. I cant use RF or ill get nothing but static.

If possible I would like to spend $50 or less.

Please guys, anything that you can recommend would be great. Personal reviews and outside reviews are also welcomed.

My fridge isnt freezing any more, its cooler then the rest of the fridge but it doesnt really freezer. The back of the fridge is clean so im not sure what the problem is.

OK so I just purchased this monitor

but the DVI cable was to short, its like 3 feet long and I need something around 6feet.

Problem is that I went on newegg and I see there are many kinds of DVI cables out there.

I just set up my dual monitor system. I was looking forward to being able to play wow (full screened) and just drag my mouse over to the right and hit the other monitor so that I could easily multitask. Problem is that when WoW is full screen, the primary monitor (the one playing the game) becomes solid and I cannot access the second monitor.

Am I out of luck or is there something that I can do to tweak this?

Im not sure if this info will help but here are my monitor and PC specs...

Primary monitor is a 22' LCD and it runs at 1680x1050 desktop and I run it at 1400x900 for gaming for the better refresh rate.

Secondary Monitor is always at 1400x900.

If you guys have any idea, im open to all options.
