  • Accounting Finance Quickbooks Point of Sale Set up Questions noob?

I need to start keeping a paper trail of my sales for my business. I just got Quickbooks POS, and trying to figure out how to do proper business procedures, but having trouble understanding the differences between things.

Sales Invoice, Sales Order, and Sales Receipt ? What's the Difference ? Lets say I sell something on Amazon or ebay. What would I need to do out of the three options ?

Do I print a sales receipt or sales invoice when I ship out the order ?

Anyone can direct to some kind of business templates and explain ?

  • Need advise/help from a tax accountant / cpa for online sales on amazon...10pts for best answer!?

Been looking all over the net on how to go about this, but can't really find anything useful on this issue.

Since there's really no work around here, I recently been selling on Amazon again to help me pay for school (I don't qualify for financial aid since my parents income is slightly over the bracket).

But now that Amazon is asking me for TIN/SSN/EIN, I'm afraid I'm going to lose my account which is in perfect standing. The issue is that my Amazon account doesn't have my real information (due to a suspension when I was in high school) so is there a way to file for taxes w/out getting in trouble w/the IRS.

I did apply for a DBA and EIN # last week, but have no idea on how to go about this since they are saying that all the information has to match exactly.

Can someone help work around this issue?

Should I file a W-8 instead and say that I'm not a citizen of this country? I don't care if they take 30%. Just want to save the account.

    Any advise would be appreciated

  • Can an American Citizen buy property in a different country? (Argentina)?

I'd like to buy an apartment (not rent) in S. America, preferably in Argentina. But I heard that Americans can't own land in different countries.
