My neighbor who happens to rent the house that they live in from us, has a dog outside. The dog is outside pretty much constantly and its about 10 degrees outside everyday. The dog is tied up on what I would call a 7 or 8 foot tie out. The dog has a plastic kennel but that's colder than the actual air outside. There are some stairs he can climb under, but they are kinda broken. Me and my mom want to build him a dog house that's insulated and all, but my dad thinks that'd be kinda weird. I really don' t know what to do because my neighbors are really nice people. My brother is in the same class as one of the daughers and has asked her about it before and she feels kinda bad, but not enough to do anything apparently. The dog is really only here because his owner had to go to college. We don't want to call the cops because we really do like the people. What should we do?! thanks!!!

I'm deciding between the LG Revolution, Blackberry Torch, HTC Trophy. The Revolution is 4 1/2 stars. The Blackberry is 5 starts and the Trophy is also 4 1/2 stars. I'm buying off of the internet so the Trophy has a $100 discount, but the others are just the 2 year upgrade. What would you guys recommend and why? thankks :)

My cousin was over for lunch and he brought chicken. Before he left he threw the chicken in our garbage. The dogs were sticking their noses in the garbage so I cut off the excess chicken and fed it to them, then threw the box upside down in the garbage thinking they couldn't get to it. Then I went downstairs to the computer, after being on the computer for a while (15-20 minutes) I went back upstairs. They were casually napping. I looked on the kitchen floor and there was garbage. I went to look in the living room and, of course, there was the chicken box. They haven't shown any signs of discomfort yet, but I know the bones can break apart and splinter in their stomach. What do I doo?? I have a shorkie(shih tzu & yorkie) and a basset hound, if that makes a diffrence. thanks soo muchh :)

Alright, this is the scoop, my dog got a fat lump removed(it was on her right flank) about 2 weeks ago.

The vet never called or said when she would take the stitches out. Well, my mom is a very "do it yourslef" kind of person (this haunts me from time to time.) So about a week later, my mom took them out herself. There was probably 5-6 stitches. Tootsie (my dog) didn't show any signs of pain during the whole ordeal.

Well about 3-4 days after the stitches were removed, she started whining almost conatantly. My parents are going to call the vet and see if she had any ideas sometime tomorrow. The nearest animal chiropracter is like 3 hours away and my dog gets car sick. (I live in North Dakota.)

She has done this before but that was because she had been kicked by a mule. She just woke up one morning and she was better that time but I dont think its gonna play out like that this time. Also, she hasnt been eating much lately if that helps any.

She is a Basset Hound and she is about 6 years old. She has gained a few pounds over the winter, but not a whole lot. She can barely make it up the one step we have in our entry... I love her tons and want the best for her. Thanks soo much for answering! You have no clue how much she means to me!

My Shorkie got fixed yesterday and she won't even touch her moist n meaty dog food. She has been eating roast beef just so she eats something. When she does it the meat she acts like she doesn't want it. I know when I'm sick I don't really want to eat much so I guess what I'm wondering if this is normal. My other dog got a fat lump taken off and she is eating fine, so that's why I'm wondering also. Thanks for answering!

We are moving out to a farm this summer and we have 2 dogs. We don't want to risk losing them so for the first few weeks I want to just tie them up like we do here in town so they can get used to the surroundings and all that good stuff. But my mom wants shock collars. I think shock collars are cruel, she thinks otherwise. I keep trying to persuade her and I think I might be getting to her. She thinks we can just "turn down the voltage." Well whats the point with them if your just gonna "turn down the voltage?" anyway I just don't wanna use the shock collars and I just need to figure out how to persuade her to not use them.
