I applied to 4 universities, 2 in US and 2 in Canada. One of the universities from US sent an acceptance letter around mid March. I have still not heard from the other universities. I contacted them and they tell me it will be there mid to late April.

Now the university that did send an acceptance is one of my safety nets. Its a good uni but not necessarily my first choice. They tell me that I need to indicate that I accept their offer by 15th April otherwise it is off the table.

Is it ok to accept their offer and decline it later if one of the other universities I applied to accepts me?

I have this 2004-2005 Windows PC that we build based on our own specifications, i.e. we purchased the tower, the graphic card, the Hard Drive etc. separately and built the whole system from scratch. We updated the version of windows to Windows 7 around 2007-08.

Recently I purchased Assassin's Creed 3 and installed it into the system, however after starting the game it says something that i cannot play it because my computer does not support DirectX10/11. I reinstalled DirectX and tried the thing all over again but the same result. I tried other games that my friend had such as Saints Row the Third and also Hitman Absolution, and I receive the same message.

Is there any part of the computer that I have to modify as in the hardware and/or software to allow for my system to support these games, or is it not possible.

Ok so we were doing an experiment in school, testing to see how increasing the concentration of a solution increases its conductivity.

We used normal distilled water and added salt to it each time and checked the conductivity. We used 50ml of water and started with 2 grams of salt and then went up in 2 grams for each test. The conductivity increased for 2 grams and 4 grams but after that the conductivity started to fall a little bit each time. Was there a specific mistake which we made or is it normal.

To avoid miscalculations, we mixed the solution thoroughly and washed the testing probe with distilled water each time.

There were however salt crystals in the bottom of the beaker which means that it has reached maximum concentration and cannot dissolve more salt in it.

in my science class we had to research on why sodium carbonate react faster than copper carbonate in hydrochloric acid, I couldn't find any resources so could you all please be kind to show me some websites or tell me why this happens.

This is my new machine deck, I made it out of all the cards plus some extras from the machine mayhem decks (2 to be specific). I made a bet with my friend that I could defeat his blue eyes deck with a chimeratech overdragon only, and so to put it into action I made this deck, the reason I used all the machinas is because, I heard that they can also beat ancient gears and most other decks, and my other fried owns a classic beatdown ancient gears deck, so I would prefer if you would let the machinas stay (if to reduce the amount of a particular machina card I don’t care). i bought 3 machina mayhem structure decks. but i can't decide for what to put in my final deck. i want a pure machina deck, i.e. i want all the machinas and their supports in my deck, i know it is hard but i would appreciate it if you all gave me a complete deck list with all the machinas and their support cards.

it took me days to make this deck and so please do not make fun of it (and me). and i don't want synchro monsters cause it really makes me mad. (to have all monsters necessary on the field, you gotta be kiddin me)

well i tried many decks, lightsworns, blackwings, x sabers, six samurais, morphtronics , guardians, archfiends, elemental heroes etc., but i cant find a suitable one for myself. each deck has its pros and cons, like archfiends are too aggressive and guardians are to defensive. i want a deck which is semi aggressive and is flexible. please help me.

and if possible please can you tell me the deck recipe.
