  • About working as a stockbroker...?

I am very confused now whether I should pay an amount of $695 to take the Series 7 and 63 Exams to become a stockbroker with a company that offered to sponsor. I am not sure where and what this step will lead me to? Will it be worth the money?

Also, does anyone know how this usually plays out?

    Thank you very much.

  • My car was broken into and...!?

So my car was broken into and I got robbed off. My camera, GPS, and wallet were stolen. Earlier in the day, I was trying to get an insurance but haven't processed the payment. Hence, my car is still without insurance. Can I still call the police to investigate and try to retrieve what I've lost? *Note: I have not insurance yet for my car.

    Thank you for your help.

  • Is Balcony included in the total size of a studio apartment?

I was told that the size of my future studio apartment will be 600 square feet and it has balcony in it.

Is the 600 square feet usually includes the area of the balcony or excludes the area of the balcony?

    Many thanks!

  • Traffic Ticket for Driving too close!?

    Which options should I choose?

Option 1: Admit and pay the fine.

Option 2: Agree that I committed and explain to reduce the fine.

Option 3: Contest this infraction that I did not commit.\

A few days ago (on father's day), I received a ticket from the police and written as "Drive too close".

I was driving on the highway. The police told me that I turned to the left lane without leaving a length of 1 car and I could get into an accident if the car in front of me put a brake.

However, this does not make sense to me. First, how can the police be able to see the distance of my car and the car in front of me while he was driving behind me and it is in a night time. Second, at that time, the highway exit was still far away, and there is no reason the car in front of me was going to stop. Third, my sister and I do not think I was driving too close. My friend who was driving near agreed that it was not too close.

Should I contest it? Or will the judge support the police more?

  • Oh NOO! Traffic Ticket !?

I wanted to choose Contested Hearing (Option No. 3).

Will the hearing take place in a court where there are many people?

Or will the hearing take place only 1 on 1 with a person?

And if anyone had chosen Option No. 3 before? Did you win? Or did the judge support the police officer more than you do? On what type of ticket did you get?

  • Traffic Ticket...?

There are 3 options for you when you got a ticket.

    1. Pay it without explaining.

    2. Admit but you want to explain.

    3. Refuse to admit that you are at fault and you want to contest it.

For those who know about this...

If I were to choose option 3, will it be just a 1 on 1 with the judge or in a court.

If it is in a court, do I have to pay for the court fee?

Do I (a 19 year old student) stand a good chance to win even though I have a good explanation/reason? Or will the judge stand up for the police most of the time?

  • Ahhh, I got ticket.?

A few days ago (on father's day), I received a ticket from the police and written as "Drive too close".

I was driving on the highway. The police told me that I turned to the left lane without leaving a length of 1 car (the car in front of me and my car). He said that I could get into an accident if the car in front of me put a brake.

However, this does not make sense to me. First, how can the police be able to see the distance of my car and the car in front of me while he was driving behind me and it is in a night time (dark situation). Second, at that time, the highway exit was still far away, and there is no reason the car in front of me was going to stop. Third, I do not think I was driving too close and my sister said this too. I also had a friend driving behind me that said this too.

    What should I do?

I am 19 year old. I am thinking of choosing option no. 3 as I believe I was unfairly given a ticket.

Do I stand a good chance? Or will the judge support the police officer?

  • Business Law Question?

Tom wanted to get Rommel’s attention, so he intentionally throws a baseball at Rommel. Unfortunately, Rommel doesn’t see the ball coming, and it hits him directly in the right eye, resulting in permanent blindness in that eye. Rommel will be able to successfully claim punitive damages (as well as damages for lost wages, medical expenses, etc. (in his lawsuit against Tom).

    T/F. State your reason.

Note: This is not a homework. I am just trying to appeal to my teacher and go against his answer. I am only asking for your opinion and whether is there any strong points given by each of you to get credits for my question and answer.

    Thank you.
