  • I've been hearing an unusual sound at night, any idea what it could be?

For a while now I've been waking up to hear something that sounds very much like a human voice whispering "shia shia" over and over. I've tried to think of what could be doing it, but I cant figure it out. I lock my bedroom door at night because of trust issues within my home, so nobody can get into my room. I thought it may be some kind of animal outside, but the sound seems to come from inside the room or in the wall/closet. it is very distinctly a voice, not waterpipes or machinery. I do suffer from frequent attacks of severe sleep paralysis and could but is not likely to be connected to that. I would appreciate the help, and, no I am not crazy or mentally disturbed

  • Can anybody help me with a life or death situation for my cat?

She is 20 years old. About 5 years ago she was attacked by a fox. Our vet told us that she should be an exclusivly indoor cat from now on. Since then we have kept her in the house with a litterbox. 3years ago she stopped pooping in the box. We where told that older cats sometimes do this, so we coped by covering the floor where she would go with newspaper for easier cleanup. A couple days ago, she stopped using the litterbox alltogether, and my mother is insistingthat we have her put to sleep. My sister and I would really prefer not to do so unless there was no way to help her, or if she would be suffering, but my mother also refuses to take her to the vet because she doesnt want to spend the money on an an old cat. I just dont want to let my lifelong friend die for a fixable cause. We have tried changing litter brands, location, and size of the litterbox, but nothing seems to work. your help is apreciated
