And which is the colour or marking you dislike the most? If your breed is allowed to have more than one coat length or type, which one do you prefer?

For me? Oh well. My favorite breed, the Parson Russell Terrier, doesn't leave me many choices but I guess my favorite would have to be the classic white tan.

Damn it. Found those little bastards behind Ralph's ears yesterday....

I'm going away in my holiday within a week or so. What do you think would be the fastest, strongest and cheapest remedy for this? I rarely ever came across this problems and I when I did, with my Dad's dog, what we used wasn't so good or fast.

Do you feel like the only person who loves your breed or like the general public also loves it? And how do you feel about it?

I love most Terriers. They are popular but they also have a lot of haters because of their "hyper" fame. Surprisingly, I'm a fan of the very hated Fox Terrier, ah ah. :-)

Do you believe a dog should be put down as soon as its life begins to be slightly unnatural or uncomfortable, or that death is a part of life?

I can't exactly put this into words but I hope you understand.

A very dramatic example would be your dog loosing his back legs and learning how to walk using his front legs. Do you think this dog should be put down because he has no chance of being a "dog" or should be given the chance to live if he's healthy and happy?

Please explain!

How far would you go to pay for your dog (vet, food, etc.)? Would you go as far as selling your stuff to have money to own a dog?

My Dad is 54 years old. He smokes since he's 14 years old. I tried getting him to stop almost all my life without success. He refuses to do anything more than a two week break. I get worried about him. I love my Dad and I would like to have him around a few extra years, but he smokes like crazy.

I'm not sure if I should be doing this... Should I just give up or keep on trying to convince him to stop? It looks like I'm the only person minimally concerned with this in all the family.

I moved to a new place a few days ago with my dogs and cat.

I had to leave the dogs alone at home for a bit longer earlier. When I came home I found that Ralph had basically had one of his "attacks". He destroyed my new house.

I'm seriously angry right now, but I'm also a bit confused. Ralph used to have separation anxiety issues when he was a puppy, but for almost three months he didn't have any episodes and actually did pretty well being alone for a few hours.

What could have caused this to happen?

Basically, do you hunt, do you show, do you do Obedience, Agility, etc.

I am just an avarage dog owner. They know basic Obedience.

Legit: How old are your dogs? Mine are 16 months old and 19 months old.

I corrected Tessa with the prong collar just a few minutes ago, coming back from our walk. Can't remember exactly the last time I corrected Ralph. LOL.

And I recently praised Ralph because he learned how to "Go to the crate" on command! LOL.

Sporting ~ I like Labrador Retrievers. I think Gordon Setters are gorgeous. I like them all, not into one of them in special.

Hound ~ I like the good ol' American Foxhound.

Working ~ I think Alaskan Malamutes are awesome but would never own one.

Terrier ~ Love 'em all! LOL. My favourites are both JRT and the Parson, Fox Terrier and of course the APBT.

Toy ~ Not a big fan. If I had to choose, Yorkshire Terrier.

Non-Sporting ~ Dalmatians. Chows. Sometimes.

Herding ~ I think Canaan Dogs are nice. I also like Aussies.

Never saw too much of it so I'm not sure if they did on my favourite breeds.

I'm pretty sure they made a JRT one, never watched it though.

All I know is that when they did the designer dogs episode I almost died..... I thought some people were actually VETS. O.O
