DS: Fun Question! Dogs that look like their owners?

Someone asked, not very long ago, a question about the dog\owner personality being similar... And a few days ago I came across those old commercial images about dogs that actually physically look like their owners.

This is one of my personal favourites:

http://www.caninecircle.com/data/edita/sadrzaj/sli...

Anyways, do *YOU* think *YOU* look like your dog?

And do you think that dogs generally look like their owners?

Update:

@ Fibbonnair: Didn't see that one, though I had two questions reported. I hope this one doesn't get away......

The last dog I lost was a little over a year ago; she had gotten out of the house and in just seconds booked it to the road and was hit. It just feels like she's simply not here anymore. It's kind of sad to say, but while we loved her very much, it almost felt like she never really fit in here. She was badly bred, had some severe fear problems, and was very cold - so while she could be very sweet, she wasn't very attached or loving. Before her, the dog we lost was my first Aussie, and I was 11 years old. She became sick (I think a heart problem) and died. I really miss her, every single day. It's hard because it was so long ago, and I keep thinking to myself that I never really knew her as well as I could have if she were still here. Dogs before, I miss but it's almost as if I've gotten past it and gotten over it. It was so long ago, and I was quite a bit younger. Now with the *cat* I lost almost 3 years ago, it was much harder. Still IS much harder. I still have intense moments where I wish that I could just will him back; I still have dreams where he does return, or a similar cat returns and I'm heartbroken to find out it isn't him. He was just my heart cat. A wonder cat. And I know if I lose any of the dogs I have now (which I will have to someday) I will be heartbroken. Especially my oldest three - we've been together for what feels like years, through a good chunk of my childhood, through thick and thin - I don't know what I'd do without them.

    I guess so.

We both have this annoying frown, and this deep stare.

I don't think we are as alike as the girl and her dog in the picture, but I suppose we do have a resemblance. In general, I don't think dogs and their owners share obvious features, but they do have small traits here and there that would take time to notice.

Cute as my pug is, I HOPE I don't look like him! Sometimes for fun I will make a pug face and snort at him. When I do, he keeps cocking his head back and forth and looking at me like he is really puzzled. It is SO funny! We DO have the same personality though! Everybody who meets us says that! We go to the dog park every day and it is pretty funny how many people look like their dogs!

My Border Collie and I share pretty much zero physical similarities.

    He has:

    Blonde coat

    Brown Eyes

    Long legs

    Very skinny

    Me:

    Dark hair

    Blue eyes

    Short legs...well short all around

    Muscular build

    He's pretty much a barbie.

Oz on the other hand, (the beagle), other than his brown eyes, you could say we're kinda similar. He's short and muscular as well.

I dyed my hair, and it ended up being EXACTLY the same colour as my dog. He was a puppy at the time so he a light brown. As he grew, and became more of a red liver colour. I dyed my hair, and it ended up being a redish brown, similar to Tobys coat. LOL. I have dark brown hair now. I look nothing like my dog. ;)

Little TD fairy really needs to grow up. It's honestly pathetic that you spend so much time and energy on the internet. :)

well oliver and i have the same color red/brown hair.

id like to think i dont have excess skin on my face and a twisty tail though.

as for personality we are alot alike.

im anxious around new people so is he.

i dont like people i dont know on my property or touching my stuff. we are both quiet but have our moments where all we want to do is talk THANK GOD we have that moment at the same time or wed be driven insane. just like me once we get to know someone we will be their for them for the long run until they do something to end up on the **** list.

if i really get hurt i scream and curse and rant and rave and lol if he gets stuck or manages to get tangled and hurts himself he does much the same..

we both like to just relax in each others company.

I really hope no one thinks I look like my Rotties, Caucasian or beagle, none of them have red hair.

Now personality----that is a whole other thing.
