Normally I would just spend the extra ten dollars or so and buy a good wig online, but unfortunately I only have five days until I have to wear my cosplay to a party. Obviously that's not enough time for shipping. So really my question is, is there any way I can make a party store wig look halfway decent? For length reference, it's going to be a Zuko cosplay from book 3 of Avatar. I heard there's a trick you can do with laundry detergent to take out some if the shine? Anyway, tips would be greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to convert video clips with realplayer but it absolutely will not let me until I get their free update. It's one of those sketchy ones where you have to sign up for the email list of an outside company. Is there any way around this? If not, can you recommend me software that will convert video formats for me without this annoying crap?

I really want to download a DVD to my computer to make an AMV, but I can't figure out how to do it. I would prefer a method where I don't have to download any software, my computer's a bit of a mess as it is, but I'm open to any suggestions.

I don't want anything too fancy of expensive, I just want something that I can take good pictures with as a hobby. So Genieo recommended an article to me about how a band from the U.S. is suing the U.K. One Direction because they had the name first. I clicked the link to this band's website, and I actually love their stuff! The American One Direction is better that the U.K One Direction! Granted, they have a bit of a different style, but I definitely prefer the U.S. One Direction. What do you think?

So I was in the women's health category and there were questions about swimming with your period. I found at least 2 people who posted answers saying that they just swim without anything on because they don't like tampons. Are you serious?! Do you guys do this?! Have you heard of people who do this? What are your thoughts? You're vagina doesn't stop crying in the water, it's still just as sad. I'm not judging anyone. You were probably taught that this is ok. Honestly, I'm not trying to insult or offend anyone, nor am I trying to come across as rude, condescending, or a ***** with a superiority complex. But can you please stop? Alot of people say they've stopped crying, sometimes years ago, because it doesn't fix anything. That doesn't make any sense. Crying is an involuntary bodily function. Like sneezing or something. At least it is for me. Does anybody have any experience or information on this?

So I want to put a bunch of posters up on my ceiling, but it's a popcorn ceiling. It's all bumpy and rough. It's not a flat enough surface to easily stick things to. I can't use tacks. Scotch tape is too weak. I'd prefer something that won't cause damage to the posters, but I really appreciate any ideas at all.
