I found a picture of my grandfather in a Columbia Falls baseball uniform and wanted to know more about the team. Can't seem to find any info online. It would have been mid1930's or 40's. Thanks in advance!

Thanks ahead of time! My son goes to a private high school because the academics are great. He plays baseball for them and they are horrible. He however is an excellent pitcher and utility player. he is now in his sophomore year and will play for them again. My dilemma is whether we should transfer him to our zoned school which has a great baseball team and hope that the 2 years were enough of a foundation for him or leave him there and try to find exposure elsewhere. He is an average student and not likely to get academic scholarships, so we are hoping for a baseball scholarship. I have researched the showcases available in our area and even the closest state and I'm wondering if they actually help with scouts?

Sometimes it starts just fine but other times I have to have my foot on the gas pedal to keep the engine going. I am taking it in, but I am just curious as to what to expect...

I was cleaning my ten year olds ears last night and originallt thought the earring backs had fallen off, but when I tried to take earrings out it became obvious that the backs had somehow gotten inside the backside of her ear. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. Thought it was quite weird!! Thanks!

The GFCI receptacle for my garbage disposal would not reset. I changed out the receptacle and the new one won't reset either. I have everyhting wired correctly. Help!!

My husband is the beneficiary of an irrevocable trust(also generation skipping). According to the trust papers his mother is to receive the income every year. She has never taken any of the income. My mother-in-law is the fiduciary and has never filed a return for the trust. I am trying to file them and need to know whether I have to file a K-1 for her for every year even though she did not receive anything. As I read the IRS website it sounds as if even though she did not receive it, we have to issue her a K-1. I am doing 7 years of tax returns for 2 trusts, and am hoping I don't have to issue k-1's because then I will have to ammend her taxes as well. Thanks!!

I was told that you could be penalized for challenging the assessment. Ever since we bought our home, the assessment has gone up insanely. $40000 in value the 1st year and $70000 in value the 2nd. With the market the way it is now, I really don't think that we would be able to sell the house for the city assessed amount. We aren't selling any time soon, but it seems to me that the real estate taxes need to stay in check with the market too. We get our new assessment in July and I am afraid what the increase may be this year. We have not improved the house at all except for painting rooms. I am just wondering the process the assessment and what affect it can have on our home? Thanks! Any info would be great. Live in Hampton VA.

My dog has been limping 1 day now and I am worried. He lets me move his leg and does not react. I am able to put pressure on it and it does not seem to bother him. I am taking him to the vet tomorrow AM, but am wondering if it is dislocated, what are the courses of action to take and what kind of costs are there? Thanks!!
