So my FCE project, I had some footage and I recorded a voiceover for it. I exported it using quicktime but the exported project doesn't have the voiceover. I know the voiceover is there because if I go back to look at the project in FCE, I have a rendered video that I can watch in the canvas, and it has the voiceover.

So...what happened to my voice over? What did I do wrong? How can I get my footage to have a voiceover?

I record video game footage, and I do so in HD 1080p, the whole deal. I've got the right equipment and when I watch the footage after I record it, it's in beautiful, perfect high def. But...when I actually upload it to YouTube, the maximum resolution it will let me watch it in is 480p and it looks horrible. I use the Hauppauge HD PVR and my process is as follows:

Record footage

Import footage into iMovie

Edit footage, including voiceover/commentary

Export/share movie by clicking share in iMovie menu, then selecting "Large (960x540)"

Upload

Now...at first I assumed the issue was popping up in the export/share step, especially because videos that I upload right away (as in, clips that I don't edit in iMovie at all) I can watch in 1080p...but even when I watch this particular edited video on my computer (as in the file itself, not the clip on YouTube) it looks pretty good still. It loses SOME resolution, but not a lot...not so much that I shouldn't be able to watch the video in better resolution than 480p anyway.

Can anyone help me with this?

I was running out of my memory on my computer (Mac running OS 10) so I bought an external hard drive. I was just going to use it as storage for some projects I was working on but...if I transfer most of my existing work over to that hard drive (thus freeing up space on the original hard drive built into the computer) then theoretically shouldn't my computer run faster?

I've been looking for what different kinds of celtic knots represent but I can't get anything concrete. There are some overarching archetypes like how a square knot represents protection and how the Trinity Knot has it's own set of meanings...but are there certain knots that represent more specific things or do they all basically represent the same thing? For example, is there one that symbolizes family? Or good health? Or loyalty? Stuff like that. And if so, could someone direct me to some pictures?

So I've been playing a lot of MW2 lately and I've noticed that if I join a game in the middle of the match and wind up losing I get penalized with a loss, but if I join a game midmatch and wind up winning I do NOT get credit for a win. Is this true or is it just my imagination?

I just got the growth egg and I have it equpped on my party leader, but I'm not getting double CP after battles. My leader is getting the same number of CP as everyone else in my party? Do I need to upgrade it? Am I missing something?

SO...I bought a used copy of Bioshock for XBox 360 the other day and I played it for a couple hours, and then the game froze. No error message or anything, it just froze. So I brought it back to Gamestop, swapped it out, same thing happens. I cleared the cache, blew the dust out of the console with compressed air, and had the same issue. Then I brought THAT disc back and got "The disc is unreadable errors" with three OTHER discs (all of them Bioshock, I kept going back to the store to swap that out.)

So then I gave up and downloaded the game off of XBox Live Marketplace. And I STILL am having the screen freeze on me. I haven't noticed the issue with any other games and I can't figure out why it's only happening on Bioshock, when I play off a disc or when I play off the hard drive on the version I downloaded from XBL? I even cleared up about 9GB of memory and I'm still having an issue.

I thought all along that the disc was the problem, but maybe it's not, since I can't play off the hard drive either? So is my hard drive broken? If so, wouldn't that affect other games too?

Someone help, I'm STUMPED and I have no idea how to tell what the problem is or how to make it so I can play Bioshock...

Hey, I'm only mildly (at best) proficient with a Mac, and I lost a file and now I can't find it and I'm hoping someone knows how. I was rearranging the desktop and playing with the dock when I dragged the GarageBand icon out of the dock with the intent of putting it on the desktop. SO, I drag it outta there and when I release the mouse button, I saw a little poof of smoke and the GarageBand icon was gone. I'm sure I didn't permanently delete it, but I'm not good enough with a Mac to know where it is, how to get it back on the dock, how to run a proper search for it.

So could someone please tell me how to find this "lost-but-not-really-lost" program? And any little fun tips you want to give on the dock would be great as well.
