I have been talking to this girl for a week now. We met on tinder and our first conversation was setting up a date (I didn’t want to waste any time). This whole week was great talking to her we flirted a lot and talked about our days. She sent me Good morning and goodnight texts and asked me how my day’s going in the middle of the day. She has told me I’m attractive and she likes me. She said she was excited for our date which was scheduled for yesterday. She then told me a few hours before she got her period and that’s fine. She asked if I was free today because she wanted to go out. I replied to her saying yeah to today, yesterday. I also sent her a snap today in the morning to confirm the date today and she hasn’t even opened it yet. She’s been posting on Snapchat so it’s clear she’s ignoring me. I’m just confused on why a sudden change of heart and ghosting. Any ideas? 

I am a 24 year old man and I have had dark circles under my eyes for as long as I can remember. The thing is they aren’t just a little line of darkness but like full dark blue circles. I have veins that are noticeable under them as well. I try not to think about them but every so often some random person will comment asking “what happened to your eye” or “did you get punched” this takes a toll on my confidence and raises my anxiety. I tried so much over the years such as drinking plenty of water, using creams, potato slices, cucumber slices, getting decent amount of sleep, cold cloths and frozen spoons, and nothing works. I just want relief from this. Any idea what I can do? 

My brother is about to turn 30 and still lives at home. He goes to work and as soon as he comes home he runs downstairs and plays his video games till around midnight every single day. He hardly does anything around the house to help me or my mom. My mom has declining health and is up in age and has needed us to help out more than normal and i have stepped up. I take her to doctors appointments, taken off work to help her with errands and do pretty much all the chores around the house. He however cannot be asked a single question or even bothered without him getting an attitude and screaming at us. He seems to be living in his own little world as he is a grown man who plays play station online with 16 year olds. He always has a problem with the simplest requests and it hurts our mom because she has always been there for us and he treats her and I like trash. I am 24 and she made me executor of her estate if anything were to happen because she knows he wouldn't step up. I tell her she needs to kick him out because he hardly contributes, and doesn't even pay her rent every month like i do and when he does he complains about not having money but has endless video games and a giant desktop computer and monitors. I am heart broken my mom has to deal with this child in a mans body who simply does not want to take responsibility. What can i do about this? if anything...

A. From McDonalds perspective, what is the effective after-tax cost of this debt (expressed as an annual percentage)?

B. How many dollars of taxes will mcdonalds save each year through the deduction of the interest expense on these notes from taxable income (you may assume that mcdonalds will have sufficient taxable income in future years to cover the interest expense of this debt)? What is the present value of these future tax savings?

Please provide a step by step approach i am completely lost on these problems.

I am 24 years old I have a bachelors degree in accounting and that is what I want to do. I am skilled in taxation from internships and extensive studying on the subject. However I have had no luck with public accounting jobs. I am currently getting my M.B.A and work as a banker at a bank. The thing is I have been using my companies tuition reimbursement program to help with my graduate courses. The contract clearly states whether one leaves the company on their own or is let go they are financially responsible to pay back any amount reimbursed that hasn’t been reimbursed for a year yet. I feel stuck because of this. I have 0 passion for sales and banking is all sales. I don’t believe in cold calls and that’s all they want me to do. If I leave I’ll have to pay up nearly 10k and I’m constantly scared I’m going to get fired for not meeting the monthly sales goals. What can I do about this? I have never felt so stuck and depressed In my life.

I bout an ear flushing device off of amazon. One that you squirt water into your ear. I sprayed my left ear once and it felt weird so I stopped. Now whenever I walk or bite down there is a echoing sound/ sensation in my eardrum. This just happened and it has me kind of scared. What could be causing this?

My girlfriend and I have a trip planned for SC that’s been booked for 6 months. I just checked the weather channel forecast of the area we are going and it showed rain the entire 5 days we’ll be down there. Is this certain the rain will be everyday or do you think this could be off a bit and we’ll get at least 2-3 days of sun?

She is an amazing girl and I know I’m gonna regret the decision if I do decide to break up with her. My issue is that we live an hour and a half away from each other and although we see each other as much as we can I have felt my feelings slowly degrade. We have been together for 2 years but nothing seems to change. The whole idea of leaving her is very conflicting. Yesterday I was just on my couch with my girlfriend and I turned my head to the left and a sharp pain struck me from behind my ear down to the middle of my neck. Afterwards when I tilt or turn my head to the left the pain hits me again and it hurts so bad. I am going to schedule a doctors appointment but maybe someone here can give me an idea. I woke up today and it’s still hurting like crazy.

I recently applied for a credit card line increase on my banks visa card. I found out i was approved on the day i applied which was the 20th of December. How long does it typically take to reflect and become available? Do line increases typically take affect after the current billing cycle?

My girlfriend and I have been together a year and a half, and we go out to eat almost every time we see each other. Yesterday which was a Saturday we went to a restaurant called green turtle for lunch. Everything was fine until the server asked will the check be together or separate? I took offense to that for several reasons but should I have? I mean I felt the server believed we weren’t a couple or something. Is it likely that’s the case? We have been to the same location twice before and we’re never asked that.

I went to this girl in my classes house last week to study and we ended up making out and grinding on one another. She told me she had a lot of fun and that I’m an attractive, and fun guy but she isn’t looking for a relationship now though due to work and school.(this was over text yesterday) I told her I wasn’t looking for a relationship either and suggested we could just have fun along the way and she replied “like..friends with benefits? And I said “in a nutshell.. yeah”. This was almost 24 hours ago and I haven’t heard back from her. The fact we did this last week and she says I’m attractive and the way she asked if that’s what I meant I didn’t think it would constitute being ignored. Granite she isn’t a big texter and works a lot but still this is the longest she’s gone without replying? What does this mean? What can I do?

This girl in my college class asked me to help her study so we met up and studied. A few days later I asked her if she wanted to hang out and study and she agreed to study at her house. We ended up making out for a while and she said I was cute and was wanting that to happen. Before and after that her replies are far between each other like hours. And last night we were texting same deal but she didn’t reply to my last message which was at 8:30pm. She said she had a fun time and enjoyed herself and when we were making out and I tried to advance she said not yet like not now but eventually. So I’m confused why is it taking her so long to reply? I don’t bombard her with texts I only text back when I receive a text but I don’t want to loose a chance to hang out again. So why does she do this? What should I do?

This girl in my college class had me over last night to study. We studied for a good 2 hours and then just talked for another hour or two. Anyway the whole time I just kept looking at her because she’s pretty hot and before I left she said she had a headache so I said “I heard the best cure for a headache is making out” and we start d making out heavy but that was all. I tried to press my luck to go further but she said “not yet” which in my head there will be future occurrences. She told me I was a really good kisser and I gave her goosebumps and she didn’t expect this to happen but she did discuss it with her friends before I came over. And then she wanted me to check in with her when I got home so she knew I got home safely. So you think she actually likes me and this will happen again?

This girl in my finance class asked me if I could help her study and we met up at a coffeee shop to study. Besides studying we talked a lot about our jobs and she mentioned she is single (not that blunt but obvious), along with some laughs and such. Anyway she’s really cute and she said she lives close to campus so should I ask her out? How should I approach it?

This random girl in my college class who I helped a little bit with our finance homework emailed me saying she needed help to prep for the quiz. She asked me when I’d be free to help and she sent me her cell number saying it would be easier to talk that way. I texted her and the reply was “wrong number”. I don’t get why she messaged me asked if I could help because she’s failing seemed pretty enthusiastic about meeting to study and gives me a fake number that I didn’t even ask for. What is up with that?

I work for a state wide bank and I am attending a career fair in a few weeks. I just found out the bank is attending. I am not a banker at heart I have an accounting degree and I want to get into the accounting field and there’s a lot of CPA firms at this fair. I’m now nervous someone from the bank that knows me is gonna be there and recognize me and tell someone. Should I not go? What should I do?

There is this CPA firm I have interned with throughout my undergrad in accounting for several tax seasons. This past tax season I helped out on nights and weekends even though I was working another full time job as a banker and graduated. I came back to help with no intention on recieving a job offer, however out of the blue one of the supervising CPA’s told me two of the partners of the firm wanted to offer me a job. He basically said all the managers like my work ethic and think I would make a great part of the tax and audit team. I was thrilled. Anyway they told me an official offer would be made at the end of April/ early May so they could rap up this tax season, so I waited and when time came I contacted the supervisor and he said it was probably going to be the end of May so I waited and contacted him again and he said he’d let me know. Now obviously this “offer” is off the table it being September now but why on earth would they string me along, someone who has been dedicated and helpful for 3 years for them and seek me out to tell me they wanted to give me a job just to give me the cold shoulder?

I have a girlfriend. However over the last 5 years pretty much since the end of high school for me my friends have just stopped talking to me. Wether they moved away or for some reason don’t want anything to do with me. It’s been a hard pill to swallow lately as I’m 23 and all the people I thought were my friends don’t talk to me anymore. What can I do to make real friends not just work friiends but friends that’ll call me or I can call them and and hang out?

I recently had an MRI done at a local medical imaging center, and their policy is that even if we are covered by insurance the full deductible is due at time of service. Thus i had to pay them $500. However my insurance requires that i only pay a $50 co-pay and they pay the rest for advanced imaging. I checked the claim on my insurance profile and my insurance did pay the imaging center the full price due and the claim said "you pay $50" so shouldn't i be receiving a refund check of the $450.00 since the imaging place was overpaid by me?
