Kitchen faucet has low pressure and sprayer wont work?
Our faucet is a bridge style faucet like the one below. We have had for about three years with no problems. Recently i noticed the sprayer would get stuck in the spray mode and wouldn't divert all the water from the faucet. Then the sprayer stopper working all together. Now on top of that the water pressure to the faucet is extremely low. All this happened over a few days. Suggestions? I would like to avoid calling a plumber and could probably fix it myself if i know what im looking for. Thank you!
5 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs9 years ago11 month old will not eat combined hearty texture foods?
My 11 month old son does great with pureed foods, but when it comes to heartier textures and training meals he gags. He will eat finger foods like crackers, puffs, toast, string cheese, but when it comes to different textures it's a no go. Any ideas?

4 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade ago4 month old wakes at a different time every morning?
My 4 month old baby (4 1/2 months actuallys) started waking at a different time every morning for the past 3 weeks or so. In the past he would always wake right around 6:30am and was put down around 9:30. He can barely stay awake past 8:00 now so I have moved his bedtime up to 8:30, and now he wakes sometimes 4:30, sometimes 5, sometimes 6 every day its different and it keeps throwing off his feeding schedules. Any suggestions? Is this just a phase? I feed him when he wakes and he typically falls back asleep till around 7am.
1 AnswerNewborn & Baby1 decade agoCap'n Crunch Cupcakes?
I was thinking of trying to make a captain crunch cupcake and was wanting some input on ratio...I thought I could crush the cap'n crunch and add it to batter to get a good flavor through out the cake and then top it with some cap'n crunch pieces on top of the icing. If making from scratch how much should I try to add? Suggestions?
4 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade ago4 week old takes an hour to finish bottle?
My 4 week old baby is breast fed but I express and bottle feed occasionally since i will be returning to work. He finishes at the breast in about 15 minutes but when bottle feeding he take about 50 minutes. He typically eats about 5oz and is currently using a stage 2 nipple since he is use to a very fast letdown and he is use to it.
Any advice to speed up his bottle feedings?

6 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade ago1.5cm dilated, 80% effaced & -1 station but no loss of Mucus Plug?
I am 37 weeks and 3 days and as of last Tuesday I was 1.5cm dilated, 80% effaced & -1 station, I don't know if I have progressed further then that or not but I haven't seen any of the mucus plug, is it possible I haven't noticed it or I just haven't lost it? The Doctor and MW all thought that labor would be coming soon for me. When did you loose your plug and at what stage was your dilation and effacement? Thanks!
3 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoCan a baby be in station -1 and recede back?
I was measured at 1.5cm dilation and 80% effaced on tuesday, baby was in Station -1 at that point. Is it possible for a baby to recede further back or do they continue to stay at the position till things progress more? I am 37 weeks and since last tuesday it doesn't feel like anything has progressed further.
1 AnswerPregnancy1 decade agoHow do i teach our 4 year old puggle to not bark?
We have our first child on the way and our dog, while good for the most part, gets very loud when he hears a car door slam, someone walks by the house or what ever sets him off. How do we teach him not to bark so as not to wake or scare a newborn?
4 AnswersDogs1 decade agoIf I haven't gotten stretch marks yet at 34 weeks what are the chances I will?
I know there is no real way to tell, but just want to know in your experience when did they start showing up for you? I have gained 20 pounds so far (5'9" 160 to start) and am hoping I will be one of the few lucky ones that avoids them.
And for those of you who did not have them through your pregnancy did they show up postpartum?
Thanks!
6 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoOpinions on Elective C-Sections?
Hi All, I am interested in peoples experiences, opinions and thoughts of elective c-sections. There is evidence that backs up the pros and cons of both c-section and vaginal birth. Some say it's safer for the baby and the mom, some say it isn't. Would love to hear from you. I know it's fairly controversial topic.
7 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoDid your desire level go up or down during pregnancy?
Mine is going crazy right now, i'm in my second tri-mester and it's all I can think about. Wasn't like this prior, not that I'm complaining and I know my husband isn't either but just curious to know how all your others are coping.

Hi there, just curious what other people are doing for their nurseries, not that I feel a theme is necessary or anything.

9 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoWhat would you do if your husband lef tot fix a work emergency in the middle of sex?
So my husband works alot and has a very demanding job...that being said we rarely have the "alone time" that a young married couple deserves.
Well tonight, we had a great dinner out and started fooling around when we got home. Clothes were off, candles were on but he wasn't "focused". Turns out he checked his blackberry while i was in the bathroom and things had blown up at work. Long story short, he stops our hot and heavy session to jump on the computer and fix the issues. And he just left to go into the office.
What and how would you feel if this was you?
