I have sensitive skin as a result of product misue on my oily combination skin. Now I have acne marks on my cheeks, which seem to have lessened on using Clarins Lotus Huile treatment oil.I also sampled cliniques 3 step for type 3 skin, loved the face wash, found the toner to be a bit harsh, stinging etc, but cleared up my face and the sample of the mosituriser, if used little was not suffiecient, but the entire sample for the day was a bit too much.....need a suncreen too, help me chose between these 2 brands please

2 AnswersMakeup1 decade agoHi, I have what would be called sensitive skin i guess, initialy my skin was oily combination?
But I used to experiment with a lot of products and this led to a very sensitive skin, which feels dry and stretched afre a face wash, so if I used products for dry skin, it clogs my pores and i break out and if i use products for oily skin, then my skin feels dry and off late am getting fine lines in my forehead.I have been diagnosed with polycystic ovaries, which makes my hormones go haywire and this resulted a bad breakout of acne in my cheeks & to a lesser extent chin.
I use a gentle foaming facewash, but checked with a reputed dermatologist, he recommneded a salicylic face wash..but i discontinued it, since it had a strong fragrance, for the face her recommended Acne Moist, a thin cream with mosituriser and suncreen. For the night he recommended retino AC and cetaphil cream.I did not use retino, since we are trying for a baby and informed the doctor about it, but he said contraindications were not really proven, so i could use it...but i dint.after using both acne moist and cetaphil for 2 days, i started to get really dry spots on my forehead and near the undereye region, looked like burn marks. So discontinued both.In the interim I have been using the lotus huile treatment oil from clarins and found a lot of marks had lessened ( past acne marks) and I used clinique 3 steps for type 3 skin and all the burn marks have faded.I loved the face wash, which felt were cool, but the toner was mildly irritated my skin, I found that the dramatically diffrent moisturiser gel, if used sparingly was insufficient, but a little more, made my face sweat.
All I want is a good skin regime and confused between clarins and clinique...can anyone help.I live in India. Its quite hot here and I want a really good suncreen too.
Thanks for reading through and hope you can help.
4 AnswersSkin Conditions1 decade agoWe got our Cat spayed 3 weeks ago, a day after the surgery she started puking?
We replaced her hard food ( whiskas) with soft mashed fish, but she still was puking, the vet said she was allergic to the oral antibiotics and replaced that with injections.everything was going on fine till the day scheduled for the stitches to be removed, the Vet said she had developed hernia and inner stitcehs had ruptured, so she was stiched back again. Its been a week now and we think she is fine ( we have been taking her to the vet every day for check ups ) but are still worried and scared that something bad might happen. What are we doing wrong, please help!

We adopted a kitten which was abandoned near a garbage dump 6 months ago, shes a really intelligent kitty and seems to understand whatever we tell her.Of late she has been making these really loud yowling noises all through the day & night. We are worried that we will be asked to leave our apartment building, which as a norm does not encourage pets and 2-3 people have complained about the terrible noise. What can we do to help her, Is there any treatment to calm her down etc
