  • How many times a day should a puppy be pooping?

We just got a 3 1/2 month labradoodle puppy. She seems to poop at least 5-6 times a day. I'm just wondering if this is normal? We feed her Blue Buffalo premium dog food, about 3 cups a day (she weighs 25lbs). Her poops seem solid and normal, but the frequency doesn't seem normal. Could the food not be agreeing with her?

  • How do I get my cat to stop?

We just moved into a new house and my 17 year old male cat has decided that he needs to pee all over the place. Other than the peeing, he has adjusted well to the move. He is extremely healthy for his age so I don't believe it is health related. I am thinking he's marking his territory. My husband is about to strangle him, I just want to find a way to make him stop. We had put the litterbox in the basement, but have since moved it up into the main floor laundry room so it's closer for him. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm desperate....... :(

  • Late teething.....should I be worried?

My son is almost 20 months old and has only 6 teeth. He was 14 months before he cut his first tooth and I thought he would get most of his teeth pretty quickly after that. It doesn't affect his eating habits at all. Should I be worried? Should I take him to the dentist to have an x-ray of his mouth to make sure that the rest of his teeth are there? He doesn't even have any signs of teething going on. No drooling, no swollen gums. It just seems so strange to me!

  • What do you think of these names for my baby boy?

I am 24 weeks pregnant with baby #2....a boy! We are very excited as we already have a 2 year old daughter named Kaelin Mae. I am having the most difficult time thinking up boy names. These are the 2 I have so far. What do you think of them? Any suggestions? Do you think they go well with our daughter's name?

  • Does anyone have experience with a feeding tube being inserted into their dog?

I have a 4 year old female Siberian Husky and about 2 months ago she pretty well stopped eating altogether. We have tried absolutely everything and as of last week she had gone from an already skinny 35 pounds to 27 pounds. The vet has done 3 different rounds of blood tests but nothing is showing up. She is so skinny and weak that the vet is worried her heart will give up before they can figure out what's wrong so today she is back at the clinic getting x-rays of her abdomen and if there are no blockages they are going to insert a feeding tube into her esophogus. I feel just awful, but I know that it will be for her own survival at this point. I was just wondering if anyone has had to deal with this and how did it affect your dog?

  • How do I help heal a sore on the bottom of my daughter's toe?

My 2 year old daughter has a sore right in the crack of her baby toe where it bends. It looks pretty red and painful. What can I do to help speed the healing process? It's in such an awkward spot.

  • Why is my dog not eating and losing weight?

I have a 4 year old Siberian Husky female. She has always been a picky eater. Her normal weight is 35lbs, she is very petite. As a puppy we had to start cooking up ground beef and rice to mix with her kibble to entice her to eat. It worked well for the last 3 1/2 years, but about 2 months ago she pretty well stopped eating all together. Just picks here and there. I took her to the vet and as of a week ago she is weighing in at 28lbs. They did blood work and took a urine sample and have ruled out liver or kidney problems. Today we go back because she seems to be getting worse. Next they will look into stomach and intestinal issues. I'm starting to get very worried. I just want her to eat! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
