I am looking to get into Federal Law Enforcement!

I wonder which would be my best bet to join and be accepted. I have 5 years exp in the Navy as a Avation Electrician with a honerable discharge and I will complete my bachelors degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Terrorism in about 6 months.

I really want to be in investigations, but i realize I have no experience. Does anyone have any suggestions on which agency I should join to get my foot in the door? Or do you think I could apply directly to the FBI or CIA police force and be accepted given my Veteran status?

I would like to hear from current Federal employees and Veterans! Or anyone who has knowledge of my situation.

I was wondering if the landmark case Mapp vs Ohio was appealed to a Appellate court or if it was appealed directly to the Ohio supreme court after the lower courts decision.

I was in a house and I was looking at pictures of some sort on the wall, I can't recall what the pictures were of. While i was looking at them they all shattered in slow motion and the glass slowly fell all around me. Anyone got any ideas?

ps: I also remember speaking to my Girl Friend from a balcony in this dream before the shattering glass of the pictures in the living room.

I have a katana made from 9260 spring steel, does anyone know the best way to sharpen this type of steel? I know the water stone method that is geared toward traditional Japanese steel katana. I was going to use sand paper starting at about 300 grains and move up to 2000. Anyone have a 9260 blade that they have sharpened with success and without destroying the geometry of the katana?

Wonder how I would find out the water table of my land.

I am going to dig a deep hole about 12 feet, and I want to know before hand if I will hit water and if possible how deep it is so I know for future projects.

Is there a way to figure this other than just digging it? County records? anything anyone knows would be helpful thanks!

I have seen this come up a few times lately, my question is why?

Why do people "Troll" and is it just a immature thing because i'm pretty sure it came from that WoW game.

Also why do people feel the need to find "trolls" out? As if by answering the "trolls" question he somehow wins an internet victory over you, seems if you answer a "troll" with a reasonable answer your the silly one somehow, whats up with this?

I guess what I am asking is am I the only one who just answers peoples questions with the assumption that they are serious, and if they are not serious they are childish and need to go do something constructive and get off yahoo answers?

Does troll = someone who seeks self gratification from getting people to answer their silly questions and if so why do they think they made said person who answered the question correctly look silly? Or do they just get off on the fact that they think they made someone feel bad? I'm so lost. help lol

I was wondering, if you were in lets say Cambodia and you stepped on a landmine would you be able to escape if you react fast enough when you feel it or here the click? Or escape another way maybe? whats the trigger time on a landmine can I escape?

My question is why do atheist reject the idea of god completely when the universe is so HUGE and there is no way to know for sure? It seems like they are saying they know the bounderies and workings of everything. and because they have not come into contact with it, it must not exist.

Is this not a wrong way of thinking? that if YOU have not experienced it, it must not exist?

~It just seems to me there is a sense of the atheist being "in control of everything" aka the classic human condition of thinking we know it all.

I think there are 2 different types! and i would like to hear what you have to say/add to my thoughts!

Type 1.) Refuses to believe that there could be a supreme being (God)

Type 2.)Demands proof of God's existence (Doubting Thomas type)

Type 1 seems to just out right refuse the possibility that there could be a being superior to them, while type 2 seems to have a more open mind that the universe is MASSIVE and can not be fully comprehended.

I guess what I am asking is what type are you if you are one and why. And do you think there are other types of atheist?

The quasar i am referring to is from the formation of a super massive black hole, i know that most think that the speed of light can not be surpassed but i figured with a quasar being the most powerful and brightest burst of energy in the universe that if anything could pass the speed of light that would be it. Have we found a way to measure the speed of the matter/energy coming out of the super massive black hole?? I know we have pictures of quasars but the speed at which the black hole is spitting it out WHAT IS IT!!!?!?!?!!?

I am in the process of reading a book on Tao of Jeet Kune Do and one of the late Mr. Lee's notes said that no matter if you use "HOOKING AND SWINGING" in your fighting style, there is no argument that you should have a perfect defense against it because most all natural fighters use it. My question is what is "HOOKING AND SWINGING" refering to? it goes into little detail and i cant seem to find anything on google or youtube! thanks in advance!

I'm looking for a place to train, a school that will teach me but also give me a place to stay/feed me. I know this wont be free. i feel like i need to eat/sleep/live in the place where i will be learning the art. its kinda important to me to be totally emmerced.
