misunderstood

So I'm getting a brand new 8 week old puppy soon, in a week. And I just have a few questions. I have owned a dog before but never as a newborn puppy like this. So I generally know what I need. But I do have a few questions :) I'm 16 by the way so I'm not a dog expert.

•can 8 week old puppies have like the puppy hard milk bone treats? Or like really small bones? or can it only be small stuff that's chewy?

•for my schooling, I'm away for 7 hours. She will be in her kennel so I can train her early on that while we are gone she is to be put away, will that interrupt with her going potty outside? And my mom does come home early so she can let her out. Do you think this is a good idea?

I need some help with my names for my story. The short descriptions are below. Thanks for your help in advance. Middle names would be kind of nice but i'm only asking first names. LAST NAME IS KINGSLEY! (:

-Main Character; She is kind of depressed since her brother died. She has long brown hair and brown eyes. She in the story can see her little brothers ghost and she goes to the cemetery everyday before and after school. She is dark but she used to love sports like volleyball and gymnastics. She's 16.

-Main Characters Sister; She misses her little brother too but can't see him like her older sister. She is a very funny, and smart 12 year old. She loves to sing and dance. She takes dance classes and gymnastics.

-Main Characters older Brother; He used to be Daring and Outgoing but since their brother died hes been dark and depressed and hibernates in his room all the time. She has brown hair that he keeps short and he loves music. He also plays video games all the time. He barely ever talks to the family and he is 18.

-Main Characters 2 bestfriends

1) has long blonde hair and she is witty and hilarious. She is loved by the main character and she is also 16. She has blue eyes and wears contacts. She is a cheerleader at their highschool but she's the outcast cheerleader because she only got put on, despite her looks and excellency, because her mom is the captain. She is very good but she didnt want to try out, her mom made her.

2) She has brown hair thats really short. She is kind of on the quieter and shy side and she is really smart. She is hated by a lot of the school because she has a bad reputation because of some rumors spread about her last year.
