Is there a way to tell when a friend request was sent?

I don't want the other person to feel like:

Hey, you remember this request you sent to John Doe 5 years ago? Neither do we, but he finally accepted!

Somehow, a program named "22322.exe" has been installed on my PC. I first found it in Task Manager under Startup. I traced it back to a folder in "AppData/Local" named "Icjsoft". Apparently, it's one of those chinese fraudulent programs. The problem is, I can't find any way to uninstall it (the way it usually is with these types of programs). It does not appear in "Control Panel - > Uninstall" and does not have an uninstall exe in its folder.

What do you suggest?

I have a really good friend, whom I really wouldn't mind sharing my Steam account with, even though it is linked to my credit card. Does Steam have a measure to prevent account sharing (like blocking an account used by multiple PCs at the same time) or is it safe to do?

Hi, I've got a bunch of old awesome games like "Praetorians", "Soldiers heroes of world war 2" or "Renegade", but they came as a physical copy in the times before steam. Some of them have keys (but they are product activation codes and don't work for steam) and others don't have a key at all.

Can I redeem those games on steam so I have a virtual version of them as well?

I'm trying to write an encryption algorithm.

My best idea is that for every new word it processes, the program will define a new character.

For example, if it finds the word "cat" (and it didn't meet it before) the program will define a new character, such as ä, į or ø

So my question is: can an algorithm define new characters?

I use my Ipad for internet browsing and one thing I love to do is watch movies/shows on it, but lately I found websites are infested with ads that make the page load slow, some don't let you see the page till you click something and they overall make the whole internet browsing experience a real nuisance.

My biggest problem right now is a delayed add that lets the page load for an indefinite amount of time (up to 12 minutes! it redirects in the middle of the video) and then redirects me to some cheap website.

If anything, is there a solution to this type of add?

Remember, this is on tablet, so there's no addblock or noscript.

I can t find it anywhere. I could download it from piratebay on my pc but I preffer watching it online on the tablet.

Have you ever seen a teacher just randomly go to the toilet in the middle of the class?

It happen to every one of us: you forgot to poop in the morning and all of a sudden you feel the wrath of god unleashed upon your belly while the teacher goes "bla bla bla" in front of the classroom; your mind goes blank as you attempt to suppress the excruciating pain by trying to rip appart your desk with just the tip of your fingers and in a moment of clarity,peace and joy, when the tide settles for a split second, you realize there are still 30 minutes to go. After another 30 seconds you shamefully raise your hand and ask the embarrassing question knowing everybody knows why.

So my question is this: did you ever see a teacher just suddenly burst out of the classroom because he/she just couldn't hold it in anymore?

Cause in my 12 years of school i did not.

So this is my last year of highschool.

Our I.T. teacher said that starting second semester, we can participate in an individual project to receive a diploma wich, supposedly, will ease our search for a job later on.

To this point we have studied Microsoft visual C++ 2010, CodeBlocks,MinGW and Borland C++ for DOS, but our teacher said it is ok to use any language we want.

Feel free to suggest something farfetched; i have a whole school year to complete this project and i'm ready to learn any language.

Overall, i'm looking for a challenging project that can be completed by one person (not a team).

I was watching "Paranoia agent" the other day and i got to episode 8.

I understood what the episode was about but i really think the chat (which nobody bothered to translate) holds more answers.

Unfortunately, i can't point you to the script because i couldn't find it, so your best lead would be to watch the episode.

About 4 or 5 days ago i was browsing through the list of "romantic" animes/cartoons to find a good series to watch (don't ask why... i was desperate). I found this gem called "Mysterious girlfriend x"; initially i just thought the cover looked good (i'm a guy who judges a book by its cover) but soon i found myself shipping the couple, giggling like an 8 years old (which i am not - i'm 18) and cringing at the solo drum of doom (some might get this reference, some might not; don't sweat over it).

Next was "Midori days" which has mushy written all over it, but i thought exploiting the idea of "the only girlfriend you're gonna get is your right hand" was great; overall, i have no regrets.

I know these two animes don't really have anything in common (except for the fact that they would make a great lemonade if you put them in a blender with a bit a of sugar and some water) but here's my question: Do you know any anime or cartoon (but i don't really think there's a cartoon like that) that has a love story i can ship and an original plot?

(You know, "Mysterious girlfriend x" was about drool and overall crazy female character and "Midori days" was about the right hand gimmick)

I've been saving money to buy a 3ds and thought about buying a special edition one (since it looks much better).

I don't really want to buy an X/Y themed 3ds because they are overpriced (and i really want a brand new over a second hand one)

So what do you guys think? Should i wait till november?

Ps: I mainly want to play pokémon so other themes are out of the question.

I watched it when i was like 6 years old so i don't remember any part of the title at all but i do remember it was about a boy and his grandfather traveling through the world in a locomotive. Also, there was this dragon that was tracking them down. As silly as this sounds (even for a cartoon meant for 6yo) she (the dragon) wanted them to teach her how to laugh (cause apparently she could only cry even if she felt happy).

That's all i can remember about this cartoon in general, but i do remember one episode slightly better: it was about this man that lived in the desert all alone because a mirage made him appear (from the distance) like a giant and so everybody was scared of him.
