Looking for titles of two classic films, both b&w?
Alright, I need help figuring out the title of two movies. Problem is I don't remember any of the actors, just the plots but I saw them both on TCM.
One is about a painter who finds the perfect model. He paints her several times, has conversations, then finds out the model is actually a ghost. I also recall something about him going to a lighthouse during a bad storm.
The other movie is about some boxer, starts out with him running for a workout and this woman who is looking for a club she is to be working at pulls up beside him (or maybe she was walking and his coach was driving I can't recall) anyways this pro who is only doing the stuff so he can buy a grocery store and take care of his ill mom falls for the girl despite any persuasions to keep it from otherwise.
Anyone have an idea what these are?
2 AnswersMovies9 years agoMirena Birth Control?
Because I am so young, my doctor does not want me to get my tubes tied after my 2nd child is born so he suggested this for me. I looked it up, and the side effects seemed a bit frightening to me so I thought I would ask the women around here about it. If you have had it, what do you think about it? Is it worth it, or should I tell him no?
I also want to point out that so far every birth control my body has been on has reacted badly. The first which was supposed to give me one period a year, made me bleed every day instead. The second which was supposed to regulate me, made my periods completely nonexistent. After that I quit taking the pills and still was not able to have a period. Its been 2yrs since I have had a natural cycle! With this in mind, is it possible that I would react badly to the Mirena as well????
4 AnswersPregnancy9 years agomy dog has this hot spot issue?
Every Summer my doberman/hound dog seems to get a hot spot issue. The problem is so bad that she has already ripped out the fur from her back end from biting and scratching. Its always the same spot each year. The vet gave us this ointment for it, but the stuff never seems to help and I'm tired of wasting the money on something that doesn't work. Who wouldn't be? So fellow dog lovers I ask you, if you have ever had this issue and if perhaps maybe you guys know what actually helps from your own experiences? Be it over the counter things or home remedies, I'm open to options!
3 AnswersDogs9 years agoHas anyone used Comforts For Baby products here?
I just randomly received a diaper bag and coupon book from my local Kroger promoting this chain of baby products. Has anyone used any of these products? Mainly being diapers, formula, or their toddler cereals? I am mainly a Pampers person for diapers, so if you have used both of these I would really like your opinion on this.
Also, please do not bash me for the formula question. My body will not produce milk for my baby due to health problems, so its not because I am lazy. Formula wise I usually do Enfamil as it has always seemed the better that I have found. Is this formula as easy on an infant as Enfamil has been for me so far? Or is it like Similac, which always had every kid I have known on it constantly burping up junk?
If anyone has experience with this stuff, please give me your input! Thanks much!
2 AnswersNewborn & Baby9 years agois it possible that my vision test was diagnosed wrong?
Last week I went to the eye doctor for the annual visit and as I had expected my vision went down hill a little. After the tests and what not the doctor got what sheneeded and a few days later I had new glasses. With the new glasses I can see, but my depth and distance perception is so bad that it almost hurts to look across the room, at the TV or any other screen, and I have trouble keeping my balance and nearly fell down the steps of my house because they looked much closer to my feet than they were. So could this be a miscalculation on the doctors behalf with my new glasses? Its not exactly a problem I've had before.
