Fullscreen won't work?
Whenever I enter into fullscreen on a browser video player (Like youtube, etc.) it lags severely and sometimes doesn't respond to my mouse clicks. I've uninstalled and re-installed Java and my web browsers but it's not working. I've also done the right-click>allow blah blah thing. Is there something else I should try? I'm on a Windows 7 Dell laptop.
3 AnswersProgramming & Design9 years agoMissing 70GB of space?
Okay so I have an Inspiron E1505 Laptop and I have a different OS than the one that came with it (Not the issue, but I'm assuming it might be pertinent information) and I've been having memory issues. I took all the traditional steps; Delete sh*t, defragment, "free up disk space", etc. I even uninstalled a bunch of frivolous programs and old games and movies, I deleted over 40GB of sh*t and Expected my hardrive to show it. Okay now I have a 150GB Hard drive (148 after the essential programs) and THE ONLY PROFILE on my machine is using 29GB of it. My computer says I only have 52GB free. That means there's like, 70GB of hidden sh*t. There's a locked drive, which I'm assuming was my Dads porn stash (it was his computer before it was mine) but I right clicked it and viewed the properties and it says it's completely empty. Not a single byte to be seen. (It's drive name is "Local Disc (Q:)")
I'm not saying some secret drive has 70GB of porn on it, but if my computer is posting a different number than it should, I'd like to know. Can anyone help me through this? I'll post additional information as required.
5 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks9 years agoGeneral Knife Question?
Lets say I'm in a position where I don't have access to a sharpening stone or any other kinda man-made sharpener, what can I use to sharpen my knife? What kind of rock, what shape, any plants I can use as an oil? Best answer gets chosen.
3 AnswersHunting9 years agoGraphic novel I forgot about?
I had a graphic novel about 4 years back but I can't remember the name. I can remember a few details about the first and second books, and I'll try my best to recall them.
In the first chapter, the main character, a younger girl (about 13) moves to a Transylvania-like house with her parents. The house belongs to her Grandpa and her Grandpa practices magic, the girl finds a book about magic and tries to use a trap to catch a faun (or something like that) that tells her how to get to a magical otherworld. She gets caught and sold in a slave auction in the monster world, the one that buys her turns out to be her grandpa.
Sorry I can't describe it better, I'll definitely stick around to get top vote to someone if they can get me the right Title. Thanks.
1 AnswerComics & Animation9 years agoWhat is the popular Latin phrase of relief of fault?
Say, if I was new to an environment, and didn't know the rules, and I broke one, I'd be given ____________.
I thought it was Carpe diem, but that means Seize the day. I think the phrase has three syllables.
3 AnswersWords & Wordplay9 years agoTheoretical Math Question?
Lets say there's a machine that was made to swap the tops of the plastic eggs, but once two eggs have been swapped, those particular eggs couldn't be swapped with each other again. How many eggs would it take to put all the eggs back to their original colors, or could they be put back at all? What is the equation used to solve this problem?
2 AnswersMathematics9 years agoWindows 7 Product key?
Bought a used computer, it looks modded and when I start it up, it displays a message saying I need to activate the Window 7 program. So I look on the back, type in the product key and it says "This key is not a valid key" or whatever, and then, after trying many more times, I ask my friend (who's good with computers) why it isn't taking my key, and he asks what the stickers say on the front of the laptop, like what OS the stickers say it's running, and they said "Windows XP" and he says that it's an XP laptop with Windows 7 installed onto it, and directs me to a freeware program that un-encrypts the product key from the info on the HDD.
SO after like a week of doing sh*t I'd really rather have done BEFORE I BOUGHT THE EFFIN THING, I finally got a, what I thought to be, valid product key. I type it in, and it actually loads this one, so I'm like, "Oh hell yeah" but then, after like 5 minutes of loading, it says the key has been blocked by Microsoft... T_T
Is there any way Microsoft will help lift the ban or AT LEAST gimmie a discount on buying a new one?
If not, can anyone help me in any other way with this problem?
6 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks9 years agoWhich Bolts go into which places 96 Jeep?
I'm trying to replace my water pump in my 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8, and I can't figure out which bolts go into which holes. I keep messing around with the combinations, but I'm afraid I might strip the screws.
Please help?
2 AnswersJeep10 years agoWhat are Mercenaries?
I know people have played as them in video games and I know that they still exist today, but I don't know much more than that.
Is there a difference between "hitmen" that mobsters use and "Mercenaries"?
Is the politically correct term for them "Contractors" or "Private Security Personnel" or something else?
Is it true that a lot of them are ex-military?
Is it true that they exist within the united states?
Are there any branches of the military using hired mercenaries to preform operations?
Is it true our government trained many of the Cuban Mercenaries that exist today?
Any EDUCATED answers are welcome.

Who are the largest gangs in all of California? (Top Five)
Which of them are affiliated/loosely affiliated with each other?
Which are feuding?
Who operates overseas?
Which are the most dangerous?
What parts of which cities should you avoid?

5 AnswersDesktops10 years agoHow much jegermeister is too much?
I don't drink much, like, NEVER. When I DO drink, it's just a few Mike's hard. But tonight was like, my friends birthday and he wanted to do some shots of Jeger. (I dunno if that's spelled right...) I had like, seven double-shots. (Cuz those were the only shot glasses we had.) I'm felling pretty lightheaded and spinny, and when I bite down, my teeth feel kinda numb... But I don't feel bad. I'm wondering if I am gonna have a hangover tomorrow? I really don't want one, like, seriously, I really don't want one. My other friend, who's like, my older bro, he said to drink some water, but I feel like I'm gonna burst as it is. Now what can I do RIGHT NOW to make sure I have as light a hangover (If any) as possible...
Oh, and also, I've noticed I type VERY FAST and VERY PUNCTUAL when I'm at this level of drunkenness. It almost makes me want to try and play Call of Duty, see if I can finally get that goddamned 25 kill streak.
Anyways, thank's for the help.
2 AnswersMen's Health10 years agoHow do I avoid criminals?
I live, supposedly, in a deeply crime-infested part of California. (Above San Francisco, but below Chico)
I have heard, read, and been told that this part of California has a high concentration of Russian Organized Crime, I'm wondering if there are any particular cities or symbols to look out for. Any indicators that I'm nearing a crime-infested area, or tattoos, to avoid an unwanted encounter.

6 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police10 years agoMissing an Intel Pro/Wireless Driver?
I got this laptop from a friend and it's slate is clean, it has a wireless card in it and I can see networks to connect to, but when I connect to them it says "Could not connect to network" but when I connect VIA ethernet, it works fine. I clicked a little icon at the bottom of the desktop and it brought up a page saying "Driver is not installed" when I run through the troubleshooting steps, nothing ever works. I'm too computer-illiterate to know what drivers I need, so could somebody run through the steps with me?
I'm using a Windows 7 32-bit OS, but I'm pretty sure it's a pirated copy...
