I am going to be transferring to a four year college next year and that means not being able to eat my mom's dinners any more. I will be living in a small apartment with a small kitchen. Where can I find some recipes for cheap, easy, relatively small meals a guy can make in a small "kitchen"?

Why do we vote for the President when our votes mean nothing?

People think that this is a Democracy, but it is not. This is a Republic, our votes and input means nothing because the politicians feel that we are too emotional and not intelligent enough to make decisions.

The Electoral College votes on the President and if they cannot come up with a majority, then it goes to the House of Representatives.

So, why should I take time out of my busy schedule at college to vote when my vote does nothing?

Is there a FREE program or something out there where I can record what is playing on my computer? Like for recording videos or gameplay on PC games.

I am a Christian and I am always seeing questions on Yahoo Answers and everywhere else, where many people seem to believe that all Christians are Bible-thumping, ignorant, hard-headed, closed-minded, and always try to accuse others of wrongs are convert them.

I try my hardest to never judge others and especially never tell someone that they are wrong. If they ask, I will tell them that I believe that what they are doing is wrong, but I leave it at that. As a true Christian, I am a firm believer in the golden rule.

What many seem to fail to comprehend is that there are many people that claim to be Christians, but it is all either a ruse, or they believe that they are, but they are truly not.

Is it right to assume that all Asian people eat rice all day and drive horribly, or that all black people are ignorant thugs? No, of course not!

So why must I suffer from all these hateful accusations when I have done none of them?

Hi, I'm looking for some more good fantsay books to read. I liked Narnia and loved Eragon (Cant wait for Brisinger to come out). I'm 20, but I am a Christian so I don't like reading anything with bad language, sex, and with minimal sorcery. And no, I don't read Harry Potter or LOTR.

I am 20 years old, 5'6, and about 185 lbs. I am big boned and I have about 20 lbs to loose. I began drinking whey protein shakes and then working out (hard, to gain muscle) this week. I would like to work out five days a week, but sometimes it may be four. I am not on a diet per say, but I am trying to eat healthier foods and really cut down on the junk foods. About how long at this rate do you think I can start seeing some results? I am not checking my weight, because I am wanting to gain weight, muscle.

Alright, I met a girl in my Animal Science class at college. We both are very similar, and I could tell she felt the same way about me, so I asked if I could court her and she said yes. This is both of ours first relationship, and we are both Christians. We have talked some about our future. (I want to get me Masters or hopefully Doctorate, and then marry her.) Oh, and we have been going out for about 4 months.

I have known I love her for some time now and I could not hold it in any longer. So I told her today when I was at her house that I love her. She said that she wasn't quite there yet.

I was and still am devastated. I have never felt such pain before and I don't know what to do, short of continuing to pray and just waiting for now, waiting for her to make the next move.

Ok, my hair just looooves to start curling up all around my ears and at the back near my neck whenever my hair gets to be about an inch long. I am a 20 y/o guy and and I want to try to do something different other than keeping it buzz cut. What can I do?

Ever sine we got some guineas last year, we have seen a lot of rat or chicken snakes on our farm in North Texas, an hour away from Fort Worth.

We have seen like, 5 or 6 already just this year alone.

How do we prevent them and keep them away from our farm?

I have been trying to grow a goatee for 3 weeks. It grew fairly well, but after 2 weeks it seemed to stop and kinda stay at about 1/2 of a centimeter. I am 20 years old.

Unfortunately I shaved it off yesterday because I knew my girlfriend didn't like it. I told her shaved it becuase I knew she didn't and she said I didn't have too, but I sensed she was happy I did.

Ever since I shaved it off, I have missed it and I REALLY want to try again. So here is the other question: Should I try again, or could that hurt our relationship or something like that?

I'm just curious, how do those touch pads on laptops work?

Ok, I am planning my family of four's vacation to Orlando. Since I am goign to college we have two options of when to go: The first two weeks in January, or the last two weeks in May. We have two adults and one 15 y/o and one 2 y/o

1. Out of these two times, when is it the least crowded and lest expensive at Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, ect.

2. About how many days do we need in Dinsey world to do everything?

3. About how many days do we need at Universal Studios/Islands Of Adventure do we need to do everything?

4. What else besides Sea World and the Kenedy Space Station would we want to do, that is not too expensive?

5. How do we go about getting the cheapest airline tickets? Somone told me they went there for only $115.00 Round Trip each.

6. Do we want to stay at the Dinsey World Resort while we are doing other things in Orlando after we are done playing at Disney World or do we want to get a differant Hotel somewhere in Orlando?

7. Any other tips?

Ok, I turn on my PC, and it will start up normaly, but after a few seconds the screen goes black, just like when it goes to sleep. I tried using another moniter, but it still happans. I took the cover off and blew out all of the dust, and then removed then reinserted the RAM, big white flat cable thing, and my modem card. It still does not work. My uncle thought it had a virus but now he believes it is because the motherboard is too old. It is about 4-5 years old, and it is a cheap E-machines. Is he right, or is there another way to fix it?

My mom keeps nagging my brother, tellign him to to go to video game sites, she says that you could get viruses or someone could hack into your computer. I'm not sure that is entirely true.

So, is it safe to check out the latest RPG's online or should I just go by word of mouth (or E-mail)?
