Lady Geisha
how to say "no you can't come over" in a polite way?
I need an excellent answer ASAP.
Story:
my cousin (haven't seen in years) is going to be in town because she's got a new bf in the area. She's staying the night at his place but he works the following morning, 4 AM to noon. She text if she can come over to my place at 4 AM and stay here till her bf gets off of work (noon)!
Earlier, I mentioned to her that her visit days are at the time of my anniversary with my husband and we celebrated it annually. She's so self-center. She forgot about my special plans with the husband. So again, I reminded her about the anniversary through text, but she doesn't get my hint, it's a no! 4 AM, crazy!
"Why would I wake up 4 AM for you on our exact anniversary day and accompany you half of that day? Why can't you stay at his place?" --that's what I really wanted to say to her!
I feel obligated to accompany her while her (new) bf is temporary gone. For some unknown reason, she can't stay at his place and wait for him there. This really tick me off, because she's not here to visit my husband and I. Her intentions are obvious; she wants to use us and then ditch us when he's available.
I used to be close with this cousin but it's been a few years since we've done stuff together and now, we're estrange of each other. I don't want to be a b--itch!
How do I say "no" in a polite way? I need an answer by tomorrow.

2 AnswersOther - Home & Garden9 years agoSan Diego, CA - Where are the best places to go for Halloween 2011?
I live in SD for over 4 years now and have not done Halloween in SD. My husband and I wasted our Halloweens with families in Riverside County, which is boring! This year I'm forcing him to do Halloween in SD, but unfortunately I don't know where in San Diego? Help so I can convince him SD is the place for holidays! (It's just him and I, no kids) No kids stuff, please!

4 AnswersComics & Animation10 years agoTylenol or Aleve for backache?
I go to college and sit for hours. I have backaches during those hours. Aspirin doesn't last long enough. I need a different pill that will last longer so I can concentrate in class than worrying about my backaches. Which would you prefer and knows it works well?
6 AnswersPain & Pain Management10 years agoIs it hard to have a baby during college?
I'm 25, happily married, no kids yet. I'm at the stage of wanting kids with my husband but I started college. Yes, I know very late. Better now than never. I counted my years along with our future kids and found out that I will be around my 40s when they are teenagers. I want to be around most of their lives.
Would having a baby while in college affect my studies?
What would you do if you were in my shoes?
5 AnswersOther - Pregnancy & Parenting10 years agoWhy does my lower back hurt?
I get horrible back pain when I sit for an hour or longer. It hurts so bad I have to take pain killers to stop it (about 2-3 times a day). Its awful because I have a two hour and a three hour classes! During class it would hurt so bad. The pain started around 4th of July. It first lasted a week which had me stay in bed for 4 days. Now, it comes and goes everyday! I'm young around my mid 20s. I am about 30lbs over weight.
What is wrong with my back? What's causing this? What should I do to heal my back?
3 AnswersPain & Pain Management10 years agoWhy do I dream of my husband cheating?
I have been dreaming of this for over a week now. Each dream it would be different. Last night, it was about a baby he hid from me. It was his baby with someone else. Other times, it was another woman in the dream. The first couple of nights I woke up upset. Now, I wake up and realize it was just a dream and knowing it might happen again. I had dreams like this before, but not every night.
We aren't fighting. We are doing ok, like any other normal couples. I stop telling him about my dreams. It upsets him that in my dreams I see him that way. Why I am dreaming of cheat and hate towards him every night?
8 AnswersMarriage & Divorce10 years agoWhat do you do when you're annoyed from your mother-n-law?
My husband and I are in our mid 20s so we are old enough to make our own decisions. My mother in law is fun to hang out with like a friend shopping in the mall or at the bar.
Unfortunately she still acts like a mother around my husband and I. Lately, I noticed she's been trying to brainwash me on doing something that I don't want to do. She pressures me about a certain career and backs her statements with high potential in that career. I'm tired of hearing her repeat herself about this major. I am going to college but undecided. I finally said yes, I'm majoring that and yet she still reminds me of it over and over. She's like my mother when I used to live with my parents. I already told my husband. He says, she doesn't realize that she is pressuring me, so just ignore her. How can I when it's constant whenever we see her. It's annoying! She knows what she is doing to me because I seen her work her ways towards others to get what she wants. Then she tells the whole world that if it wasn't for her that person would of never gotten there. She likes to gain her good name from others rather than making it herself. Just thinking about her makes me upset. She's not my real mother! I dont know how to tell her to stop pressuring me into this major or dream of hers.
WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST I SHOULD DO?
2 AnswersFamily10 years agoWhat do you do when you have a Break Down and how do you control?
Break down - emotionally distress on something that was able to push your button to ultimately make you respond in angry, depress, or go crazy.
1 AnswerPsychology10 years agoIs Nursing hard to major in?
I am a college student in CA. I did a online career quiz and found out that my personality fits in the Nursing field. I heard lots of positive and negative stories about this major. Positive outcome is the schedule, good pay, high on job demand, and helping lives. Negative outcome is the schooling and the CNA! My question is this a hard major to graduate?
*People answering this question - I prefer people that are nurses now or with experiences on the medical field or currently schooling on the medical field*

2 AnswersWords & Wordplay1 decade agoAcne - Can jogging/excising make you break out?
I had a history of mild acne. My acne stopped when I turned 18. Now I am in my mid 20's and it is back. I changed my diet and I'm excising. I started this new life style in August and that was when the breakout happened. I love my new lifestyle because I feel great and energize. I shower right after my workouts. I wear clean clothes for my workouts. Could it be my diet? My new intakes are Slim Fast meal drinks, V8 veggie drinks, GNC women active vitamins, and I eat under 1500 calories/day. Please help explain why this is happening to me all over again and what can I do to stop it.

3 AnswersSan Diego1 decade agoComputer Geeks (technicians) - do you know any good printers and inexpensive?
I need a printer, that scans, copies, and prints well (no paper jams, ink mess, loud noise, etc.) Faxing is okay too. Don't really need it.
**Only need it for college, jobs, mailing, and emergency (lite personal usage, no business use)**
I only have a laptop. Wireless would be nice.
Laser or Inkjet, which is better? Cannon or HP printers? What is toner?
Welling to pay a little over $100, but under that price would be excellent!
- best-buy cost too much
- overstock (not enough choices)
2 AnswersPrinters1 decade agoIs drinking muscle milk shake good, if you only jog?
Unfortunately I am not interested in doing other workout routine. I only jog once day for 30 minutes, 5 times a week. A friend gave me a brand new package of 2 lbs of powder "muscle milk". I never had muscle milk. I was wondering if it is okay to drink that because I only jog.
