I've recently had a hamster of mine pass away after several years and since I cannot take another hamster with me to college it would be irresponsible to get one now, so I was thinking about getting a Betta fish, but I'm not too familiar with the breed. I've cared for goldfish (I've even had them live for several years), aquatic frogs, and some minnows when I was younger, so I'm not a first time fish owner. I've heard that the Betta can be really aggressive and that men must be kept separate at all times, but I was wondering if females could have tank mates (other female Bettas or just other aquatic pets) if kept in a 10 gallon tank. I was also wondering about the temperament of the fish, I'd like to have a fish that was at least a little active. I'd also greatly appreciate any helpful tips.

Other than eating them plain of course, how can I take Ramen noodles, ditch the chicken seasoning and come up with something yummy and cruelty free. I'm not a vegan, so I can have animal products like cheese. I ask because I found like 6 or 7 packs in our pantry that I'd hate to go to waste.

My pug is about 2 years old. Recently he has been staying up late yelping. I'm sure it's not just him begging, because it appears he's itchy. He constantly tries to bite and scratch himself. We treat him with Frontline every month and he doesn't appear to have fleas. What could be wrong with him?

I have been diagnosed with chronic anxiety and chronic depression. I began taking Zoloft but was prompted to stop after having a severe allergic reaction to it. My depression has caused me to lose weight as well as develop poor sleep habits. To make matters worse it seems that my depression is now ruining my relationship. By boyfriend of 3 1/2 years and I have been having terrible relationship issues. I've tried talking to him, but he doesn't understand and thinks that it's all his fault. To me the fact that he can't be there for me is making me less attracted to him. I don't have a car so I can't see any of my friends to talk to them about my problems, either. I really don't want our relationship to end, but I can't seem to make things better with us. What are some ways I can cope with my depression or help our relationship?

I've thought about joining a gym to get rid of stress to get rid of my anxiety, has anyone tried this before?

Lately my dreams have been plagued by the dead. In particular a girl that died at my school about two or three months ago. I had never spoken to her while she was alive. In my dreams she's usually a bystander or just smiling and walking by. When I try to acknowledge her in my dream she smiles and shakes her head and walks away. I've been feeling rather depressed lately as well, it seems like the slightest things can trigger a mood swing. Personally, I believe in spirits and things of that nature, is there some spiritual connection we share, or could my mood be triggering it?

Any help is great. Also, if anyone has anyway to help clarify my dreams again, that'd be wonderful.

6 months ago I was under the impression I had purchased two male hamsters, however I recently found 7 baby hamsters in the cage when I was going to clean it. I'm not sure what to do. A day ago I found one of my hamsters coated with blood on "his" underside. I thought they had been fighting so I separated them. The mother is now returned to her babies and I'm trying to interfere as little as possible. While I don't expect this litter to survive I would still love some advice.

My current cage has bars that a hamster could very easily slide through. The last few nights I've had horrible migraines and muscle pain. This morning my muscle pain just vanished and my whole leg is numb, like when you get your blood pressure tested in one of those things that wraps around your arms. I'm also slightly lightheaded every now and then. My first thought was tss, but I don't think I fit the symptoms.

I've been getting them nonstop off and on for about a month. As soon as I get rid of one my boyfriend has one. We don't really kiss while I have them as they hurt so badly, so how is this happening. I've been treated for what the doctor thought they were, but they won't disappear. Are they contagious? Do I have a virus? How can I treat them and prevent them from re-occuring?
