  • Youtube upload taking a long time, says "will be live..."?

I have a 13 minute, approximately 1GB video filmed with my iphone that I'm trying to put on youtube. I first put the movie on iMovie and then altered the settings to export it to quicktime per the instructions on Youtube's page. When I went to upload it to youtube, it gave me an estimate of 350 minutes remaining, and it said the video will be live at youtu.be/...... What is "youtu.be"? It sounds like some scandalous hacker mimic of youtube. Anyway, why is it taking so long and what does "it will be live at youtu.be" mean?

  • Can't delete song from iPhone?

I downloaded a song on itunes and then synced it with my iphone. However, my iphone synced two versions of the track, one of which is completely defunct (does not play) and has no album artwork. I was able to easily delete the other one using swipe>delete. But this one won't go away. How can I easily get rid of it?

  • How to remove data from Xbox after getting own copy of game?

I played a friend's copy of a game on my xbox 360 and have since bought my own copy. I think we just played online with his copy (i.e. no single player save file), but I want to make sure that there isn't any of his data (online or single player) or anything on my console before I use my copy. What's the easiest way to do this?

  • Xbox 360 slim console one flashing green light?

When I turned on my xbox with a controller, I noticed the first player light (top left) was green, but flashing. The controller was low on batteries, so I turned it off and switched to another controller, but the light was still flashing. After I turned my console off and back on, the light was solid. Why was it flashing? I can't find any information on one green light flashing. Was it maybe just a glitch or something?

  • Skyrim Companions Quest Glitch?

I just got the Purity of Revenge quest from the Companions. After doing research, it looks as though this can conflict with the Helm of Winterhold quest. However, I haven't started that quest and don't have it in my log at all. Can I just do this quest normally and then, when I get the Winterhold quest, do that one normally with no glitches?

  • Macbook pro fan suddenly kicked on?

My new(ish) 2011 Macboob Pro is usually pretty quite (almost silent). However, today when I was doing homework on Safari, I realized I needed to use Firefox for compatibility with one of the programs. So I opened firefox, and when I did, the fan kicked on. It was a constant, semi-loud noise that I usually never hear. I tried closing the programs, but the noise didn't stop. After about a minute, I decided to restart my Mac, and the fan noise went away. What would have caused this? Was it just because I was running several programs at once? I've had the same things opened before with no noise...

  • How to get rid of an itunes account on a computer?

Here's the story: I was using itunes on my desktop for awhile before I got a laptop. When I started using itunes on my laptop with the same account, it told me I could only use it on one computer (so I chose to use the laptop). Now I still have itunes on my desktop, but it obviously hasn't been updated since I've been using my laptop. I was wondering if it's okay to get rid of itunes on my desktop and how I would do this (just uninstall?). I want to make it so that my stepdad can just plug his new iphone in and create his own, separate itunes account without any conflict.

  • How to get rid of an itunes account on a computer?

First of all, I want to make sure I'm doing this right. I recently got a laptop and I am now using itunes on that (It said something like do you want to switch your itunes because you can't have your account on 2 computers, and I said yes). Since I no longer use itunes on my old desktop, is it okay to get rid of it? And how would I do this? I want to clear it out so that my dad can hook up his own, entirely separate, itunes account on the desktop.

  • Hoodie inside letter lining is peeling?

The inside lining of the letters on my hoodie is peeling away. For a few days, I noticed little cloth pieces falling off. Today, I looked inside and it looks like it's all peeling or starting to peel. It looks fine on the outside, but I was wondering if this is normal or if I should take it back.

  • Looking for tire pressure gauge?

I've tried several tire pressure gauges, and I've not had much luck. Some of them don't hold pressure after removing them from the valve stem, some let air escape from the valve stem, and others are just plain inaccurate or inconsistent.

What's a good tire pressure gauge that doesn't let air escape, holds the pressure when you pull it away, and has a bleeder? Should I use an analog or digital? What are the best brands?

  • Xbox Live accidentally created an account?

I went on to xbox live to sign in and check my billing information from my computer, but when I got to the site, it already had one of my email addresses filled in and it wanted my first name. I didn't see a way around it, so I just gave them my name and hit submit. Well, it made a new account, and I signed out and back into my actual xbox live account. However, I don't know how to sign back into this new account to delete it since I didn't have a password or anything. What do I do?

  • Is she asexual or just going through a phase?

I know a girl whom I'm interested in...we've been involved online for several months now. Lately, she's been saying she's not interested in sex and is starting to think she might be asexual. However, she has masturbated before, and has been sexually aroused (even quite recently). She's also seemed interested in a relationship with me, although maybe not sexual. It almost seems like her feelings of asexuality come and go, and I'm wondering if it's a phase. She's only 17, so I've also thought that maybe she's just not hit her sexual "prime" yet and that it may develop later or after she actually gets physically intimate with a guy.

    What do you think?

  • RUNDLL error removal...did I do this correctly?

I kept getting a RUNDLL error message on startup. I first tried using CCleaner's registry clean, but it didn't help. Then I tried RegEdit and deleted the file that was causing the error, but the error kept happening. Finally, I used msconfig to find the file on startup and I unchecked it so it wouldn't run. I no longer get the error, and everything seems to be okay. However, I know that messing with the registry can cause problems/corruption to windows. Did I do this correctly? Is there anything I should be worried about? Is there any way to check and see if I corrupted my system? I'm running windows xp.

  • Microsoft System Configuration Utility?

I found the file that was causing a RUNDLL error on startup, and through msconfig, I unchecked it. After restarting my computer, a system configuration utility came up and says "you have made changes to the way windows starts." Should I just check the box that says "Dont show this message on startup"? By unchecking this file, have I messed anything up?

  • How to fix RUNDLL error on startup?

I keep getting the same RUNDLL error. I've tried CCleaner's registry clean (it also offers a cleaner for windows and applications, but I'm not really sure what that does). I've also tried the oft-repeated suggestion of going to RegEdit and deleting the dll file. Neither of these things has worked. How can I get rid of this error without backing up and wiping my system?

Edit: I'm running windows XP. The specific error message file is [ C:\Documents and Settings\ All Users\ Application Data\ C1F8C236-AA2D-7780-7BBC-1E6D9BD1974F.avi ]

  • RUNDLL error message on startup?

Problem: I'm running windows XP and I've been getting this error message every time I restart the computer.

Recent Activity: I was using an older version of Avira, and I recently switched to a newer one. However, after I started getting these messages, I switched to Avast. Avast is active, and has been running scans and updating properly.

Things I've tried: I used Avira's RegCleaner to delete the old Avira files. I also just downloaded CCleaner and cleaned up the registry. However, the error messages haven't gone away.

What can I do (full detail, as I'm not computer savvy) to make these messages go away?

  • RUNDLL error on loadup?

    Operating System: Windows XP.

Symptoms: I've noticed that, whenever I restart my computer, it comes up with a couple of messages saying that there is a RUNDLL error. Also, the last few days, it says "windows has recovered from a serious error" but, in a very windows-esque fashion, it is unable to provide any further information.

Recent Activity: I was using an out-dated version of Avira (9.0) and just recently switched to 12. it has been running and scanning properly, but these issues seem to have started shortly after updating. So, today, I uninstalled Avira and replaced it with Avast. Still, the same error messages on startup.

Question: Are the error messages and "serious errors" related, and what do I need to do to fix them?

  • Windows XP Serious Errors and RUNDLL error loading?

For the last few days, I've been having issues with my PC running Windows XP. Often, when the computer starts up, I can't click any of the desktop icons. Then, after I restart the computer, it comes up with a bunch of error messages, saying "Windows has recovered from a serious error" and "error loading RUNDLL."

My antivirus is up to date, and it's been scanning and updating properly. I just upgraded to the newest version of Avira.

What's the problem and how do I fix it?

  • Avira says this version no longer supported?

I have Avira free antivirus, and lately it's been showing this message saying my version is no longer supported. It requests that I "click here" but just takes me to its website where it's pushing me to buy the paid version. However, if I pull up my Avira program, it says that the version is good until 1/31/2012 (at which point it should automatically renew for another 12 months). I was wondering if I need to change my version, and if there is another, newer FREE version (since I'm not paying for antivirus software).

BTW, this is not a question regarding what kind of antivirus to get. I'd prefer not to switch to Avast, or AVG or pay for something like Norton or Kaspersky.

Also, the current product version is 9.0.0.429.

  • iPhone Wall Charger Dark Material Around Prongs?

Looking at my iPhone wall charger, I noticed a slight, dark material around the holes in the two prongs that go into the outlet. The material wiped off easily enough, and I've never noticed a spark or had any issues with the charger (still not having any issues). Is this something I should be concerned with? Should I stop using the charger?
