  • Period pain after birth?

I get bad periods still 9 months after giving birth constant shooting pain from my lower back down to leg and my toes painful constant pelvic cramps and crazy cravings this lasts 3-4days sometimes even for a week prior to getting them as well, and terrible mood swings. I eat bananas everyday... But they are soo much worse even before I fell pregnant they weren't this bad. Pain relief (ibuprofen/codeine) doesn't touch it or just takes the edge off so I can sleep at night but I don't like taking pain relief during the day because i need to be able to function for my 9 month old and my partner works long days and heat packs are a very short lived relief too. Ugh does anyone have any suggestion????

  • Winter approaching need some advice on baby sleeping bags?

My son is currently 8 months old and a size 1 he's a sweaty baby and hates blankets and clothing in General I woke up to a naked baby this morning haha which is fine in summer or hot weather. I can't wrap him up without him breaking loose and clothing comes off easily for him I was thinking a baby sleeping bag would be great. Opinions on brands you use that are made in bigger sizes where to buy them online if you aren't Australian and preferably something not very thick? thanks

  • Mothers questions about play group?

I'm looking into it for my 8 month old :) and was wondering what to look for when choosing one I have a few in my area and I want to choose a decent one as there is a fee per term and a weekly fee also, not that it's much. Do your babies enjoy it? Do you enjoy it? Thanks :)

  • A substitute for butter?

I found a packet pudding in the pantry shopping day isn't til Thursday and I'm a bit sick of eating the same things already (we get paid fortnightly) I've found enough ingredients to make satay chicken for dinner in the pantry. I was hoping I could substitute butter for something else in the packet lemon self saucing pudding? Maybe I don't need butter or a substitute? I normally make things myself and not out of a packet lol but we are low on supplies for most things until we go shopping on Thursday thank you for your input

  • Sister in law being unreasonable help?

The last week I helped out my mother in law changed her bandages cooked meals for her moved furniture cleaned her house because I knew she had to rest and she has a habit of overdoing things because she lives such a busy lifestyle she's a lovely person and she lost her husband last year anyway the sister in law called up her mother and abused her for letting me help her for a few days. she also made her mother uninvite my partner and I to her birthday dinner and didn't end up going herself. All of this is because we won't sit down and talk to her about how we live our lives and how she thinks we should grow up. we aren't perfect but we live honestly my partner works 6 day weeks and long hours we have a 7month old we rent and are saving up for a house and we aren't married I'm going to do a course when my baby is 2 in aged care and worked prior to pregnancy in a bar this is all a big problem to her so we don't get invited to family things etc.... I've been telling my partner that we should probably get the talk over and done with but after the other day having her walk into her mothers house act like our existence offended her storming out and almost bowling me over in the process I'm finding it hard to want to mend things if she's going to be unapproachable... What would you do in this particular scenario? Should I get the "talk" out of the way? My son is missing out on his cousins and it really upsets my mother in law that we aren't on good terms too. She's been through alot
