My grandfather informed me recently that he was going to be looking for a new computer, so I did as any good granddaughter would, got online and started doing some research. I am currently in school for information technology, and do all of my education online, so I know a little, at least. I have only really worked with dell computers in the past, and as far as buying brand new, I figure that Best Buy is a good store and they a Dell desktop on sale this week for $549. I looked it over a little, it has 4gb of ram and a good processor and 6 high speed usb ports, and an hdmi port that will make my grandfather happy. Is this a good deal? Also, if you buy the computer they will give you a special on a printer. Is it a smart choice to want an all in one printer, that uses only 1 cartridge instead of about 5? And do you know which brands offer those types?

I would like to add something to my computer where I can see what websites my kids are viewing, and maybe a little more than that, anyone know of a good one?

I just yesterday had comcast bring me an internet modem, and they installed their software, then for free I got McAfee, so I downloaded that. I also downloaded glary utilities. Ok so, My modem is working fine, I have a little world in the corner, but the internet explorer is very unstable, and keeps not responding. Is the problem with Mcafee or internet explorer? I have also ran the comcast desktop doctor for internet issues and it says everything is working fine.

Okay I am working on a family members computer. I had to reinstall windows, which I had the c.d. for. I did not have the right cd for the drivers and utilities, how can I now download them? I can't seem to get on the internet with it.. probably since it doesn't have the right drivers. I can get on the net, just not with that computer.. Please Help!! I am so stuck. Thanks in advance!!
