removing candle wax from burner?
I'm wondering if there is anyone out there who has a home trick for removing candle wax from wax burner. I love burning wax cubes, yet the burner is always too hot to pour the wax out if. I'm curious if there is alternate way of treating the burner prior to placing the wax cube in the pot. I use a tea light to heat the burner. Thanks : )

This smell is coming from the the bathroom, under the sink. Is anyone familar with this sort of situation? How on earth do I get rid of it? Im burning candles which masks the smell, but when I blow the candles out the smell is still there.

Shawn is a 35-year-old male with whom you have worked for the last 18 months. He recently lost his job due to company downsizing. He is very talented and has a lot of experience. He does not think he will have a problem finding a new job but is upset that less talented individuals with more seniority were able to keep their jobs despite the fact that he had always received excellent evaluations for his work performance. Even though he believes he will find a new job, he is frustrated about his present situation. He reports that he spent a lot of time with his coworkers outside of work, and really enjoyed his job and the atmosphere. Shawn spends a lot of time talking about how much he misses everyone at work. As he leaves his counseling session he states, "Maybe if one of those idiots that still has a job has an unexplained accident they might beg me to come back."

David, a 15-year-old, has been your client for the last 2 months. He is struggling with his parents’ recent divorce and has gotten into trouble skipping school. David has cut himself off from his friends and has been complaining of a variety of vague and unsubstantiated illnesses. You are working with him to adjust to these recent changes in his life. During your last counseling session, David appeared more withdrawn. For the past few weeks, you have attempted to work with David’s mother to get him into a child psychiatrist for a medication evaluation to help him with some challenging symptoms. David finally has an appointment and will see the doctor next week. As your counseling session draws to a close, David thanks you for being his counselor. As he puts his hand on the doorknob to leave he says, "Don’t worry about me, I won’t be any problem anymore."

What is meant by saying a drug addict is taking a "med holiday" or when a recovering addict takes a med holiday with being doped up on narcotics all weekend?
1 AnswerPsychology1 decade agoCan't stay awake during the day and caffeine doesn't help?
I have this problem of staying awake during the day. I typically go to bed around 8:30p fall asleep around 9p then wake up around 5:30a to 6a. I sleep excellent throughout the night, and I wake up refreshed. My problem occurs around mid afternoon. I get so sleepy that I could easily put my head down on the table then fall asleep. It’s insane and caffeinated drinks do not help at all. Even extra strong black coffee doesn’t help, if anything it makes the sleepiness worse. I’m not taking medication of any sort. The only thing I have found to help me is, going outside for some fresh air which helps for the moment, but when I go back to work I’m dragging again. I don’t smoke or drink alcohol – and it’s usually during mid afternoon that I’m dragging.
Please offer advice. I hate this. Even if I have to go see a psychiatrist I will. I was avoiding having to do that as it’s a pain to take time off from work, oh and I love my job.
