When I like a girl I'm always caught between two very different mindsets on how to deal with the situation. These mindset are:

- Be Cool: Take the relaxed approach. Talk to her in a very casual way without giving away too much information in relation to the way I feel about her. Appear to be trying very little.

(Ultimately I risk her never knowing how I feel, leaving myself open for that possible crushing moment when you see her making out with someone else without her ever knowing my pain)

- Be Open: Tell her exactly how I feel. Throw all the cards on the table. Really go for her.

(Ultimately I risk hitting a wall at 90mph so to speak, making my pain very obvious to her)

Each has their pro's and con's. Maybe there's a third option I'm missing, I don't know. But which is the better of the two? What would you reccommend?

This girl I like has a boyfriend who just broke up with her after almost a year. She was "devastated" and "heartbroken".

We text each other and talk quite a bit. I've always been very open with the fact that I like her and am very interested her.

Not once when we talked (while she was with her boyfriend) did she mention her boyfriend and while she never fully reciprocated my comments toward her she never attempted to put a stop to them.

If her boyfriend meant so much to her why the hell was she talking to me when she knew I liked her so much and why did she never mention him?

Given the opportunity I would never have underhanded the boyfriend. I'm not that kind of guy. It just makes me wonder...

So I've known this girl for a little over a year. We text quite frequently and whenever we go out we ask the other if they are going out too. For the most part she's had a boyfriend. She's had this boyfriend since I met her. I've always told her how much I like her and how amazing she is. I've been quite blatant I guess what I'm saying. Recently she broke up with her boyfriend and I somewhat counseled her for a while. I then expressed my feelings for her more strongly and asked where I stood to her. She told me I was amazing and that she loves talking to me but said she's just go out of a relationship that she "poured her heart and soul into" and she's "not over that" and "wants to be friends". I told her I was disappointed but that I completely understood.

Basically what I want to know is... where do I actually stand with this girl in terms of the future?

Do I get the **** in, or get the **** out?

I went on a long hard mission through youtube trying to find some good underground type rock bands, but nothing really kicked me in the face. Any ideas? I found a band Silvertide a while back and that was a great success. I'm just not a big fan of cheese rock.

Any help/ideas would be sweet.

I know the singer Walt Lafty and another member of Silvertide have started a new band called Automatic Fire, consquently does that mean Silvertide is dead? I hope not. Automatic Fire sounds alright from what I've heard, but they're no Silvertide.

I looked up a bunch of questions like this previously asked but no site given helped me. The links were broken or the sites wouldn't work. I just want to download Invader Zim episodes.

A. Kill the one responsible

or

B. Hand them in to the proper authority

In that situation what would you do... do you think you have the self control?

Why is it that America doesn't participate (to the best of their ability) internationally recognised sports?

I mean... lets face it... Americans by standard are a pretty arrogant bunch.. which is fair enough they do live in the most important country in the world.. and I know its easy to say "we know we're the best we don't need to play your sports" blah blah... Wouldn't you love to kickass on a global scale?

But seriously! If you guys bothered to put the same amount of effort in to the likes of Rugby, Football, Netball, League etc. that you do in Baseball and NFL.. Damn you guys would dominate!

I'm from New Zealand... famous for our rugby team the All Blacks =]. Number 1 in the world... but if you guys bothered to put some effort in that area we'd get decked! I mean, to be some what racist for a minute here... look at the big black guys you've got running around. Size, Speed, Strength... train 15 of those badasses up and put them on the field... total annihilation!

Was having a yarn about it with a mate the other night.

Do you really think the US government is hiding that sort of **** from the public? Area 51.. Roswell... all that conspiracy stuff.

Did find a little fairly unknown band Silvertide not to long ago... really enjoyed a few of their songs.. pity they broke up after one album...

But yeah any ideas would be appreciated?
