Couple of days before I've posted a question regarding the spy ware/viruses. Few nice friends gave their suggestions in order to delete the said spy ware/viruses.I'm thanking to all of them (including Yahoo!Answers). According to one of the nice friend's suggestion I downloaded 'Super Anti Spy ware Free Edition' to delete the spy ware, which was trying to infecting my desktop. After the process, I reboot my desktop but my screen goes blue and not showing any of the desktop icons on screen. Then I press ctrl+alt+del to open task manager in order to know whether the system works or not. I found everything is working fine on task manager. From task manager, then I open FILE choose NEW TASK (RUN) that takes me to CREATE NEW TASK , there I browsed the downloaded 'Super Anti Spy ware Free Edition' , which is an icon from 'C:\Documents and Settings\Desktop\SUPERAntiSpyware.exe'. When I press OK, it takes me to another SUPERAntiSpyware's window with 'safe mode' of 4 options. The first option says ' the system will restored to the previous setup' .... I clicked OK .... the screen goes blue and I couldn't see any of the icon on desktop. The second option says ' the system will restored but without of network and some hardwares' . I try this... the screen opens in black with safe mode and I can see all the icons then I opened my files but my connected printer and net work are not working.The third option says ' the system will restored with network but some hardwares are not working'. I try this, too, the screen opens like before in black with safe mode and I can see all the icons then I opened my files, the net work is also opened and working but my connected printer is not working. The fourth option is also saying something like before. So I'm confusing on these and anyone please take care to clear my desktops problem that should be restored again as it was before without spy ware.

Its a: VBS malware-gen & type is: virus/worm.

How can I remove this and is there any FREE antivirus available? Please advise I'll be more thankful.

What do you think of 'zone alarm'? Is it best for security? Please give details (suggesstions) on this antiviruse software.

While scanning by Nortan Security Scan for viruses on my desktop, Norton Security Scan is indicating that: " two security risks detected." one is 'tracking cookie' and other is 'adware.starware'. Both are low-risk items and remain unresolved (not removed by free scanner). Yes! I'm using a free scan of Norton Security. Is there any possible ways to clear these risks. Please inform me if you have any solution. Thanks.

As mentioned above, is there any possible ways to change my windows media player to english language. I have tried several ways to change; but it couldn't. If I uninstall (remove) this media player from the system then is it possible to download via internet.

In my desk top, I've, already, been downloaded: Adobe Acrobat 4.0 after that Acrobat reader 5.0 then finally Adobe Reader 6.0 Now I 'd like to uninstall 4.0 and 5.0 (because both were occupying more space on my HDD) and the 6.0 is the latest version so I want this to keep. My question is that if I remove 4.0 and 5.0 then I'll be safer in accessing 6.0

In our office we're using an ADSL connection for Internet access through modem: LinkSys model: WAG 200G (with wireless-G ADSL Home Gateway) with 4 ports cable connectors for speed 256 kbps. Sometimes the Internet connection went off then we switched off the computers as well as modem in order to bring back the connection again after switching on all the items. This makes much difficulty for us while we are in work. The modem having 8 indicators, they all are lighting in green color. The indicators 1 and 2 are for power supply and for wireless both were lighting steadily and indicators 3, 4, 5, 6 are for four ports (cable connectors) all were sometimes lighting steadily or blinking and the final two indicators 7 and 8 are for DSL and for Internet for which the both were sometimes lighting steadily or blinking or went off.

We face the problem when 7 and 8 were not lighting steadily but blinking or totally went off. So this is our problem and we are expecting a favorable solution.

I've tried so many ways to find and connect my laptop via wireless connection to the internet. I coudn't find any possible results to connect via wireless. If anyone gives me a best solution I'll be happy. (Note that: I've DSL connection)

Yeah! the battery, of my lap top (IBM thinkpad series R40), is not working. When I take the laptop to a technician for finding out the problem, he said the battery is not catching up with the system. So is there any possible ways to rectify the problem without changing a new battery or how to check the battery's internal circuit works properly with the system? Please advice.
