In my quest to find such authentic Balinese garden design, I made a close examination of the different garden exhibits during my visit at the “World Garden Festival” last January. The first part of our Landscape article saw a wave of different watercolor rendering style, featuring the English Garden as a main composition. To heighten the level of our visualization, I tried to re-render the said model showing a more realistic scene which I’m about to present here in the second part of our Landscape article.

The Zatu tower is one-of-a-kind structure around the city, towering 150-feet-high, cream in color, striped with red accent, and topped with circular dome. My visualization of Zatu tower derives mostly from my enthusiasm to capture the same exact structural beauty of the park.

This article “Music from the North” is the second installment of our two-part visualization series of illustrating different musical instruments from the Northern Thailand. Here, we will deal with digital watercolor painting which aims to visualize a more accurate representation of the musical instruments of the Northern. The modeling procedure of all the musical instruments were made using Photoshop while the rendering was done using Potosketcher.

Focusing on the musical manual investigation in a particular town orchestra, this paper has tried to show the procedures required for effective orchestral management, with detailed reference to the schooling, coaching and supervision of a particular town orchestra.

It is through the ethnocentric process of Thai people, adherence to foreign culture that the existence of the current day Thai orchestra made possible. The organization of town orchestras in Thailand is an indicative sign of cultural progress. This is obvious on the existing orchestra traditions such as vinang and suni festivals.
