  • Can Anyone think of any good rock/hard rock/ metal love songs? Not lost love or breakups-- love.?

Preferably something newer than 80's unless it is Ozzy or Pantera somehow [I like some 80's rock, but he is picky.] I have been looking and looking and everyone says the same songs and 95% aren't even rock at all. Anywhere from Alternative to Metal would be nice. And again... this isn't lost love, problematic love or love involving breakups... it's just love. Think of songs you could hear at a wedding even, if that helps.

I just hate that every love song I find is poppy, country, old... etc.

  • So, you think you know me, huh?

With knowing only my Y!A Name and picture-- what do you assume about me?

Bonus: Along the same lines-- What do you assume about some of the other people that answered?

  • Fellow DnD players and Creative thinkers...?

First of all... Yes, I play DnD; No, I don't care what negetive comments you have about it for those who like to criticize rather than answer the question at hand.

That aside =] I have a few questions to throw... I'm thinking about joining an online traditional DnD RP session. My current DnD group is doing a Pirates Campaign. For my character application [I prefer not to re-use characters] I have two ideas of what I might want to do... One idea is to have a Half-Celstial/Elf Druid and the other is to begin as a rogue and transition smoothly into the prestige class of ShadowDancer at a later level.

Now, I have made so many characters that I am running short of character name ideas... SO, in addition to your input as to which of my two character ideas is more interesting to you for whatever reason... I'd like to hear whatever fitting character names you have for each character type... I may use yours or draw ideas from them. The winner, as always, gets the sought after 10 points and a pat on the back... so-to-speak...

  • Seeming the majority of people have the five senses...?

    Sight, hearing, etc...

Wouldn't all of these five senses be considered "common" sense?

It also seems as though more people have the five senses or at least most of them than they do what is known as common sense.

Any thoughts on this? It was a random thought I had early this morning.

  • Do you think that the idea of "Equality" could possibly be taken too far?

Before saying anything, I would like to have you ponder the thought and REALLY think about it in depth before coming forth with an answer...

I would like to see where your mind takes you before I ever take it somewhere entirely different.

Thought processes intrigue me-- do not think of anything as right or wrong. I'm extremely open-minded so even if I disagree, if you explain yourself I may be able to see your perspective and you may even receive best answer if done so well enough.

  • Thumbs Up; Thumbs Down? 0.o ?

Do you thumbs up/down other people's answers to questions that you answer?

What about to the people that answer your question?

I usually make it a point to thumbs up any answer I recieve that deserves one... even if it's just for one small reason. So far, I've thumbs-upped all my answerers but one, I think. I've yet to thumbs-down any answerers of mine.

As for questions I answer, I only thumbs down if it is part of the question [might have to explain that] or if it is just THAT BAD... and I thumbs up people that I really think deserve it in spite of whether I answer the question or not. Do you? Again, be honest.

  • Are you *Star*-hungry? 0.o?

You know what I mean... do you beg for your stars or wait to see if you have earned them? I don't like to ask for mine-- I like to see who, in all honesty, finds the question unique or interesting. Be honest, now!

  • Polurvey? 0.o When it comes to gifts....? ?

For other people... buy them or give money?

And what's your preference for yourself, gift or money?

Bonus: Do you or someone you know like to give one thing in particular every occasion to everyone?

My family seems to think a hairbrush set is the ideal gift to anyone, any occasion... no clue what gave them that idea. I've received at least a dozen in my lifetime thus far [18-turning-19 March1st]

  • Is there anybody here at all....?

...On Y!A that you have in your contacts or have seen around that you'd like to meet in person at least once? I know one of my contacts/fans in real life already but I think it'd be interesting to meet the other two at least one time... along with a couple others on here.

  • So tell me, music lovers...?

If you could create a band comprised of favorite musicians of yours...

    Vocals

    Drums

    Bass

    Guitar

Maybe people for other aspects that make a band as well...

What musicians, etc. would you use [dead or alive] in order to create this ideal band and what position would they have in the band?

10 points goes to the answer that I like the most, of course... so put some thought into it.

    My Example:

    Vocals: Rob Halford [Judas Priest]

Guitar: Alex Skolnick [Testament, Trans Siberian Orcestra, Savatage]

    Bass: Steve Harris [Iron Maiden]

    Drums: Dave Lombardo [Slayer]

That would be a pretty much metal band, of course... but don't let my answer influence yours, I'm not looking for who can suck up the best.

PS: If you've seen this before and just didn't want to answer, skip over it... don't make a big deal of it. I'm posting it at a time more people will be on so I hopefully get some more answers. I figure 4 am was not a good choice in timing to post a question.

PS2: Get as creative as you like... if you use band members that may not be THE best but they'd SOUND best together, go for it... if you want to use all your absolute favorites and HOPE they'd sound good together, that's fine, too. I want to see what you guys come up with ^,~
