My husband was installing a new stereo in his 2005 Dodge Dakota. He took his old one out and was connecting the wires to his new one. He lost grip of the stereo and all the wires touched and sparked. Now the stereo will not work. The fuses are fine. He also tried to hook up his old radio back up (thinking he may have damaged the new one) and it wont work. We re-checked and even replaced the fuses (just in case) and it wont work. His model truck no longer uses inline fuses either. Does anyone have any ides on what could be wrong? Thank you in advance!

My sister is an absconder on the run for violating her probation. We (my family and I) have no way of finding her or getting in contact with her. She had 3 little boys that she just dropped off and said to hell with. Two of the boys are with their bio father (per their birth certificate) my mother (their grandmother) gets to see them regularly and we know that they are being taken care of. My other nephew is with his (claimed to be father but never signed the birth certificate) We do not know where he is or if my nephew is being cared for properly. My question is since his name was never on the birth certificate do we have any rights to caring for him? (of course that is if he can be located) Who can we contact to find him? I am going to call the Sheriffs Department and Social Services tomorrow. Is this the right road to take? I don't want him to have to be placed in Foster Care! Any advice would be helpful. I do believe that my mother is looking to care for him, if not I would not have an objection to looking after him. (I do live in a completely different state as well) Thank you in advance!

I have adopted a Cockatiel from a home where the lady said he was being abused and neglected. I asked her if she let him out of his cage and she said once and it didn't go too well. She also said that she had been feeding him wild bird seed his cage was also nasty when I got him. So I went and got him toys and some econutrician cockatiel food (which he loves) I tried to let him out of his cage to fly around and he had a hard time picking up speed and just wanted back in his cage. I think he's attached to his cage which is a bit small for him. I want to get him a large cage but fear he will grieve over his cage he has now. Also he is a biter wont let anyone touch him or come near his cage without trying to nip them. He's also very vocal with a very loud twirp!! He does interact with me some and he has tried regurgitating his food on me...which I read that as long as he isn't sick is a good thing. I am taking him to the avian vet at the end of January but I'm looking for any advice from fellow bird owners on how I can get him out of the cage and care advice. Is he too far gone to try and help? I don't want him to be unhappy but of course he doesn't know I'm trying to help him!

I'm pretty stressed out because my husband was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. I have to do everything because he fears the simplest things such as going to post office by himself. He also seems very depressed and doesn't help around the house. He self refereed himself to the psyche ward for help with his problems after it came to the point to where he was having suicidal thoughts. I was very proud of him for listening to me and seeking professional help. He also has times where he can see a stranger and then he'll be in a dream like state and see that person die...not him killing them but he sees them die. For instance we went on a boat cruise in Seattle and he looked to be having a good time then the next few minutes when I looked at him he looked terrified and I asked him if he was Okay he said yes. I just thought maybe he was getting sea sick or something. He later told me that the reason he was looking terrified was because he envisioned a little girl that was standing near us falling off the ship and drowning. He said that he could see her face and she had died. Yes this kinda freaks me out but my husband is in no way a violent person so I'm not fearful of him in the least bit.

I'm trying very hard to deal with all of this and be a supporter for him. It's gotten really bad he doesn't want to get out of bed or spend time with our 5 year old who is Autistic. I work very hard at trying to hide this from our son so he doesn't think that his dad doesn't love him I tell him all the time that daddy loves him and try to keep him happy. (I know my husband loves our son) I am also a full time student in my senior year working on my BA degree, so you can see the type of life stresses that I am facing apart from the strain from my husband. Is there anyone who can give me any advice (besides counseling because I'd do it but I really don't have the time) for me...how can I manage all this?

Does this mean that I just make up a number (not 0) and plug it into the 3rd equation and write a Ordered pair with the that would look like this...( -3, 9, And the solution to the 3rd equation when I put a number in) please let me know where I'm going wrong...

On my right leg towards the bottom about 3 inches above my ankle I have a lump it's about a inch and a half in diamether. I have a Dr's appointment on Tuesday morning (The earliest they could get me in) for this but it's uncomfortable and a bit painful and I was wonder if anyone has a similar problem or has any advice for the pain and numbness that associated with it. Well we have been married for 5 years and have one son. Our son has Autism and ADHD. My husband is in the Army and I work with special needs and attend college. Within the past year my husband has been very annoying. He wont ever leave me alone He's always poking me or talking smack. I can't ever seem to get my homework done without him interrupting me constantly! He wasn't like this before so I don't know why he's like this now! It's to the point where I will nicely ask him to leave me alone and he will pout like a baby and then 2 mins later he'll be back to signing very crude lyrics or smacking my butt all the time. I mean I'm flattered but enough is enough!! What should I do??

Our circumstance is this. My husbands mother has dialysis three times a week if she doesn't get it she will pass away. And she can't care for herself My husbands uncle was living with her and was taking her to her dialysis and caring for her, he just got admitted into the hospital and is no long able to care for her. It's a life or death situation here. Is this grounds for Emergency leave to go pick her up take her to dialysis and then bring her here for me to care for her myself in my home? I would go myself but its a 1900 mile drive and I can't drive at night or in certain weather conditions due to eye sight.

I just bought it today from the PX and we got it home hooked it up and it doesn't heat. We double checked to make sure he hooked everything up right but it just puts out cold air. My son was diagnosed back in Feb with Developmental Delay He had tubes put in his ears and is now in school at 3 years old to play catchup. I was wondering if a child has developmental Delay will they catch up and everything be good or will he always struggle? He is already talking a lot more than he was and even asking some questions. He didn't have trouble as a baby learning anything he walked at 9 months and met all his milestones until about age 2 or so we noticed he hadn't started to talk went from there.
