So I had a crazy idea and I have a few questions about laser hair removal.

1) I am a man

I have lots of hair that I don't want and my hair is thick on my legs and arms. I wish I had thinner hair on my legs and arms and not so much.

I have read that Laser hair removal reduces the volume and length of hairs grown but doesn't always remove all of the hairs unless you go for multiple sessions.

I was wondering if I could go in for one session on my arms and legs with the intention of reducing hair volume but not being hairless there (as it will look feminine). Will this idea work?

Question 2. AM I REQUIRED TO REMOVE HAIR (shave) before laser hair removal? Because I don't want to shave my legs and arms as people will see and I will be embarrassed. Is it possible to have it done to reduce volume with my hairs left long?

So I have liability only coverage and the accident was deemed half-half because the other party lied and said it was my fault.

They said they will only pay for half the repairs but they needed to send a field appraisal guy over if I didnt want to use their overpriced shop. So I agreed and the field appraisal guy wants to write off the car even though the damage is literally limited to paint, bumper, and quarter panel. So my question is being at half fault and on liability will I get any money for my vehicle?

I'd rather fix it myself than to get 2000 for my car but im pissed they are constantly screwing me over. It is a 2005 acura rsx at 108k km.

What are my options?

So we're looking at some cars for my mom and our budget is around 11k. These are the few cars we've been looking at: '07 Maxima, '07 Camry, 2009 Civic, 2009 Sonata, 2010 Elantra, 2006 Acura CSX, or 2010 Kia Forte.

I really like the Kia Forte, it is modern looking and has the lowest mileage of all cars mentioned. I know the resale value won't be great on a Kia/Hyundai, but all I really care about is reliability and long term satisfaction. This car is for my mom.

I know the interior is a tad flimsey, but can it really be all that much worse than the Civic or Elantra? I t isn't a better vehicle than the '07 Maxima or Camry, but those are around 1,000 more in price and have more mileage.

The one we're looking at has 56,000 km's, should we get a Kia or are they not reliable compared to my other options?

So I'm looking at a car for mom and I found a Honda civic 2010 with 123k km's and it's got the "Honda Certified" warranty which is appealing. Costs about 11k before Taxes.

Only problem is that I see on the picture the hubcap on the wheel has rust. Does this mean that the underbody of the car also has rust? Is this an indication that the car will start rusting out in the future?

We're trying to buy a long-term reliable vehicle, and the Honda Certified warranty helps, but I highly doubt their warranties cover rust.

What do y'all think?

The pistons that hold up the trunk have failed and It's very hard to keep the trunk/hatch open while doing my job. I deliver flowers and I get heavy ones and ones that are all the way at the end and I can't reach with one hand.

I was thinking instead of replacing the pistons could I just take this tool: http://www.harborfreight.com/media/catalog/product...

and put that where the pistons are (highlighted in the first picture link)? Will that hold it up?

Ok so I have a job where I need to deliver gifts all over the city and mostly downtown area where it's extremely crowded and there are many one-way streets and no parking, etc.

My question is if I buy a cheap GPS to mount on my windshield (40-60 bucks) will it always tell me where I am and where my target is? How accurate will it be? Because I have been using google maps on my phone's crappy internet and it is way off (a few streets sometimes) when it comes to telling me where I currently am. And that's a big problem because I get lost quick.

Also I'd like to note that on my phone (google maps) the "my location" is accurate sometimes if I wait a whole minute or two, but I can't do that while I'm driving (because I might be driving the wrong way and there's no place to stop). Therefor the question is, will a $50-60 GPS tell me where I am at all times accurately? Or will it be the same as my garbage phone gps?

I bought an '03 model that I believe is base (because no leather seats) but I saw it had no rear wiper which was a disappointment because I liked the look. It's a used car and has had a few owners, I'm wondering if it originally came with the car and got taken off or did the car only have that for premium and type-s models? I don't have the car in my possession but it had a grey circle on the rear windshield and I think maybe that's where it is supposed to go?

If it indeed did come with one and someone ripped it off, you guys think I'll be able to put a new one on? How much would that cost/how would I do it..?

So I been looking at some cars and Celica and RSX are two cars that look like they'll be my next upgrade. Currently drive a '01 civic.

The problem is I was talking about a Celica and one dude was like "nah I'd stick with the honda, celica is too feminine". And that kind of offended me because my Honda doesn't look nearly as good as a celica would, yet he'd stick to the Honda.

RSX is the other option for my next car but it's funny because that too has been receiving some criticism as a "chick car". Personally I think nobody really thinks this, but I'd like to know:

What car is more of a girl/chick car, and how big is the difference between the two? Like is one a total chick car and the other a total man car, or are they both chick cars, or etc?

Please explain, and offer any suggestions on how to rid these car of the chick car status (if they indeed have that status). Thanks.

P.S Please don't say "no cars are designed for a specific gender", the "girl car" term is people just use, I want to avoid it because it'd be totally opposite to my personality to have a chick car.

Ok so I sort of find the stock wheels on my blue '01 civic coupe ugly, and I can't really afford new rims.

I want to paint it black using plasti-dip but I'm not sure if that'll help it look better. Should I bother doing it, or will it still look boring after being painted? If you are for painting them, is black the best colour for my car?

I don't want to go through the effort of doing this but I really have no solution towards making my wheels look better right now...

So the car I want to buy from my friend is alright but it looks like the hood is open a bit.

Basically he bumped into another car's butt and it caused the bumper to go in, bending the hood and making it open on the sides by about an inch.

My question is: How much would it cost to repair this, where do I go to fix it? Also, how bad would the car look compared to a new one if I chose NOT to fix it?

I have a motorola Xt720 from Wind and It was never given an official froyo 2.2 update, but people at xda have worked on way to get it.

The problem is it seems very hard (10 steps, some of which require even more steps before you can do them), and I'm scared I might ruin the phone. Furthermore, there have been reports that the froyo 2.2 update causes problems with marketplace and the led buttons after time. There have also been complains about the camera.

Overall upgrading the phone from it's natural state seems like a hassle, but I really want the benefits of 2.2 istead of being stuck with 2.1 (I hear 2.2 is 4.5x faster than 2.1).

I saw a video on youtube however of this guy with a very EASY guide to rooting the phone and enabling wifi-tethering and overclocking--two features which I plan on getting. I don't mind being stuck on 2.1 if I can get those features, but I'm not sure what to do.

Should I get froyo 2.2 and risk screwing up/upgrading to an unstable rom, or should I just root the phone and get the features I want?

What is the advantages of getting 2.2 vs staying at 2.1? Is it really a big deal?

I've needed glasses since forever, I'm extremely short sighted and I can't see well when the light is about to turn yellow (i.e the 20 second count down is all blurred). Sometimes during daylight I can't even tell if the street light is yellow or green until I get very close (which is a problem).

For parallel parking I can't see the curb on my right mirror as I'm totally blind and squinting doesn't even help. This issue also applies to back-parking.

Lastly I have a hard time knowing what my speed limit is because of my vision.

My driving test is tomorrow and I didn't get an eye-test done. I tried calling a place nearby but they require an appointment which takes a few days at least. I don't have that time.

1) I am thinking about going to a shoppers drug mart and trying on some of their non-prescription glasses and whichever works best, I'll use that. Is that a good idea?

2) Is there any way I can get a pair of glasses on the spot? If you know a place where I could do that, it'd be greatly appreciated.

3) Do you think I will I be able to pass the test with my crappy vision?

P.S I do not have insurance, if that matters...

Ok I got an unlock code from WIND and it didn't work I tried it 3 times.

I called them back and they won't give me an unlock code for it because I bought it from Kijiji and they need account details such as phone number and account user name, and the guy I bought it off was a random dude who never gave me his name in the first place.

Anyway I wrote down the original unlock code (which was given to me by mistake.. I guess) and I think I'll try changing some of the numbers which I could've just wrote down wrong.

1) I have a question though. How many tries do you guys think I have before the phone bricks? If it does brick how do I fix it?

Second main question is: The Wind people needed a phone number and a name which I couldn't produce. I even explained my situation to them and they said it's OK that I never had a WIND account, but I just need to give them a name/number before they give out an unlock code.

2) If I just give a friends name/number and say it's me do you think they'll unlock the phone, or will they look to see if the person I name bought the phone to begin with or not?

I killed fricken 500 pokemon and I cannot gain any exp!!!!!!!!! wtf is going on.. I even went on summary, checked it said I need 91 more xp till next level, then I killed a patrat and it was lv 7 and I didn't gain ANY exp!

am officially dead broke, last week got some money in the mail from the government (woot)

and on the bank site it says i got 70 bucks. The problem is i tried to buy something for like 15 bucks today and couldn't. It's kinda embarrasing, but It's been a week, 5 buisiness days. When will that money be usable?

So yeah i really need to collect my osap but they require sin card + one piece of provincial i.d. The problem is: I LOST MY SIN CARD, and to get a new one will take a long trip to Scarborough Town Centre and wait in a long line AND then wait 10 more buisiness days, I just can't do that....

What should I do? The line at my school is friggen long, I have my sin number but not the card think they'll let me in? Today I asked a student helper if they'd allow me without the physical card, and she suggested "just to find the card they probably won't".

Please help me this is very annoying, idk where to make a fake card cuz i would if it's convienient, looked around the entire house literally every box and didn't find it. Please any suggestions?
